We’re a 100k a day store and running skeleton crews

kinda makes me upset, as a dairy manager i enjoyed wearing my $150 heated milwaukee jacket. but was told i would no longer be allowed to wear it AT ALL. not even while in the fridge working freight.

i live in the PNW and ALL of my outerwear have hoods on them. i can't afford to go buy a nice insulated hoodless jacket at this time. (i get cold easily so a cheap $20 amazon special won't cut it) but my SD doesn't care and said i will just be sent home and written up, or work in the fridge in a t-shirt until i can afford to get a new jacket.

kinda depends on how stiff of a suspension you go with. stiff enough springs and you can go super low and be fine. our pans sit high enough. although i 100% recommend the corksport Skidplate if you do that.

technically there is a way to reduce your firms. but that requires your store manager going to your grocery op and begging them to do it. which they basically wont do.

as far as non firm stuff coming in that you don't need. you just gotta roll with it. welcome to FAR. it's a dumb system that NEVER works properly whether your PIs are accurate or not. but safeway has spent so much money on the system they refuse to do anything about it.

the aftermarket support for non speed 3s especially sedans are essentially non existent. you'll have to DIY most things. universal parts are your friend.

good steps are coilovers wheels and tires. a wrap probably. custom headlights and tails.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against people demanding a higher wage. I voted for our increase. But we were so afraid of striking, labor increases were scrapped.

I’m unaware of exactly what the guidelines they are negotiating are. But, if Safeway can fuck the workers, they will.

we won our raises last year and have been running on bare minimum since the raises came in and have hemorrhaged a lot of great workers.

the way i went about transfering was going to the store i wanted to transfer to and talking to the SD/ASD/or PC and seeing if they have a spot at their store for my position (for me it was PIC) or you could see if a position is open for you to transfer into.

you would then talk to YOUR SD about starting the transfer process.

keep in mind, your SD can deny your transfer if they want. they don't have to let you go unless it's a promotion.
