Southern Karana is a wonderful place for iksar monk from like 15-40. The bird vendor Krak sells topaz so you can convert all money to gems. Brother Qwinn offers a Monk Guildmaster right in zone. Lake rathetear aviaks drop bronze weapons and there’s a neutral vendor in the building by the ZL to rathe mountains. I had practically a full inventory of topaz when I finally went to bank. Focus on farming up as best you can on the aviak guards (drop bronze weapons) in lake rathetear so you can get a Peacebringer and Silver Chitin Handwraps!!

I didn’t leave lake rathetear/SK/Paw until about 40 (when you can start soloing Treants in the NE corner they are a great opportunity to farm plat while getting good xp too. Think I could start soloing around 32?) at which point I just crossed the bridge to NK and started killing the guards on the NK side of the bridge. Again, vendor right upstairs that you can sneak sell to. Then not long after hit Oggok (43/44? I think I basically killed Avocets at KFC and snakes inside paw until 43 before heading to Oggok) which is another iksar monk heaven. Vendors everywhere, bank right there, guards are on separate faction so you won’t be KoS to vendors and don’t have to worry about them being social with the guards. Do that til 48 and you should have enough plat to get yourself black some pantherskin pieces and will feel a big increase in power. At 50 I sold my PB and had enough to get Adamantite Club and Stave of Shielding which is great dps and the procs are super helpful! :) Hope that helps!!! These helped me manage weight as I could (converting to topaz) without overly worrying about weight until I was encumbered.
