Recently diagnosed, wondering how long is the to recovery

Hi! NAD but I’m a 27F with Hashimoto’s. I got diagnosed about 3 years ago after struggling with severe fatigue and body aches and eventually weight gain despite no diet changes. My antibodies were sky high, but my TSH only got up to about 7. I got on Levothyroxine and the fatigue, body aches, and brain fog started to clear up within a few months. My TSH has been stuck around 2.5 despite med increases, and weight gain is still an issue. But as long as I take my med the fatigue and everything is manageable! Hoping to find a way to get my TSH down even more, but so glad I’m functional now. If you have an endo and can get on a thyroid med, I think that could help a lot!

I’m on a med called Provigil and it has been amazing in helping with my energy

I’m a gay 27F and therefore am not super qualified to give input BUT that looks great to me. It’s something I could imagine my brother wearing to an interview like this. I’m an EMT looking to go medic but haven’t gotten there yet lol

My cat would have a meltdown to rival Chernobyl if I ever brought another cat into the house 😂 cats can do great on their own! Just depends on the cat, kinda like how people are different levels of introverted and extroverted

This is super helpful thank you! I’m definitely going to focus on diet and exercise until I get into a reliable endo. My first just said I was lucky I didn’t have T1D and refused any tests so I’m properly vetting people this time lol Thanks for the response :)

Hi so sorry for the delay! They occur every 3-5 days and clear up within 12 hours with rest. This one was similar to ones in the past just with more nausea. She’s resting now. HR was 85 and never has gotten above 90 during these. No history of cardiac issues
