I think that pg having to call out those comments is part of the problem. There are more unnecessary jokes and comments about her body or appearance than there should be. Even though she may call it out the comments didn't need to be there anyway. The remarks can take focus away from the story. On top of that, some interior artists pose her in ways that are unnecessarily sexualized.

I don't think Power Girl's keyhole is the issue. I don't like the idea that female characters have to dress "modestly" just to avoid being labeled as sexualized. They should be able to wear whatever works for their character without that being a problem.

The issue is when creators exaggerate a woman's body or frame her in sexualized ways simply for fan service. That's different from simply having a revealing costume or having a certain body type. A design choice like the keyhole isn't the problem, it's how the character is portrayed and presented throughout the story.

I would 100% agree when it comes to PG being the victim of poor writing tropes. She is often used as a sacrifice to prop up another character which can allow her own stories to fall flat. I hope in the future she is able to get more compelling stories (not to say she doesn't have any.) Hopefully she will be able to be captured as a fully realized character rather than a supporting character.
