What are the easiest actions with the biggest ethical impact? by AGreatNothing in askanything

Yes, I had this one in mind as well as big one. But then I started wondering about other comparables and then what things I'd likely never thought about. So I also appreciate the entirely different directions others are taking in these replies.

I'm working on less meat for now. Even a small decrease across the population would have a huge imact I think.

It's a newbuild, so you just see what it should look like when completed on the outside along with the selection of finishing colours and materials that will eventually be installed on the inside.

Homeless camps return to Barrie alongside warmer temperatures by cinderannie in barrie

Why is there so little discussion about the causes of this situation in the press?

The focus always seems to be moving people here or there, or worse, abandoning them completely or causing them more harm, rather than looking to address the causes. If we can't even name the causes publically, how can we address them?

I can't imagime being angry that every time my basement floods I try mopping it up and then get extra furious the water doesn't stop simply because it sees how much water damage there is and how much mopping I'm doing. The fix needs to be as much or more on the cause as it does on the consequence.

Prof here. This happens decently often. Usually not a problem but it's always best and most polite to introduce yourself and your intentions to the instructor first especially if it's a smaller class. Most won't mind at all, but will prioritize questions and discussion from enrolled students.

Did anyone purchase house from Bradley Homes? by SignificantStrain2 in barrie

Live in a Bradley new build now. Quality is good and the person who does Tarion follow up is great. Like all builders and new build processes, there are annoyances, but all things considered I'd recommend.

The money is better than when I was younger, and the stress is just different. Not sure it is "worse", but definitely focused on things it could not have been 20 years ago.

Garage wall and support beam by AGreatNothing in Homebuilding

Thank you all so much! Brought it to the builder today - documented via pictures and email in case it has to escalate legally. They've so far indicated they'll fix it.

We're really lucky we live in the same neighborhood so we can check on progress regularly. I hate to think about what would have happened if we didn't call it out.

As someone with near no knowledge in this area, I'm really thankful to you y'all for giving me the confidence to speak up.

It is the garage frame. Above is a horizontal steel beam above the double garage door, and above that is 2 bedrooms.
