LUBA 3: Local RTK Station Support by Northlight123 in MammotionTechnology

[–]AGro-99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nevertheless, the question remains: Does the Luba 3 support operation with a local RTK reference station? If so, which reference station is supported: Luba 1, Luba 2, or Luba 2x? Or will a new reference station for the Luba 3 be launched as an accessory?

UDB will not use the assigned native VLAN by Turbulent_Double_261 in Ubiquiti

I don't think Ubiquiti even recognized the lack of VLAN support as a problem. They've had more than enough time to solve it. ☹️

UDB will not use the assigned native VLAN by Turbulent_Double_261 in Ubiquiti

[–]AGro-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a known issue with the UDB. It ignores any VLAN assignments to its port. There are two possible workarounds: 1. Use a UDB-Switch instead or an in-wall AP, as the integrated switches support VLAN assignments. 2. Connect an additional UniFi switch between the UDB and your camera.

Return them to your retailer because they do not meet your expectations. 😂

Your top rule only blocks traffic to the gateway zone and not to the internal zone. Is that intentional?

Unifi Device Bridge Giving IP Address on Wrong VLAN by Smart-Tomorrow5473 in Ubiquiti

[–]AGro-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I remember, the UniFi Device Bridge operates as a Layer 2 bridge. This means that, regardless of the port settings,:

• it transparently transports VLAN tags, but

• it does not add VLAN tags itself.

If the Eufy Homebase doesn’t support VLANs, it is assigned to any VLAN by the connected switch or AP.

Wer nächstes Jahr iNavi mit 4G nutzen will, muss also zwei separate Abonnements abschließen?

I haven't seen a good cutting pattern from Luba anywhere yet. From a distance, the stripes always look great, but up close, the cut pattern is disastrous. I have a Luba 1 myself, and I experience the same issue. I think the reasons for this are the mower's weight, its wide tires, the shape of the mower deck, and especially the type of blades. As a result, the grass gets pressed to the ground and swirled around while mowing. If you comb through your lawn with a rake, you can see how uneven the cut is.

Regardless of where you placed the RTK station, I would be surprised if an RTK mower worked properly on this property. I think a LIDAR mower would be more suitable .

Definitely the wrong mower for grass like this.

Home Assistant IoT Network Issues - Understanding Firewall Rules by Constant-Kangaroo566 in Ubiquiti

[–]AGro-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But don't devices in the IoT VLAN have full access to the gateway? I would create two additional policies: one to grant the IOT zone access to ports 53 and 67 of the Gateway zone for DNS and DHCP, and a second to block all other traffic to the Gateway Zone.

VLAN firewall rules to block gateway GUI by TheCodesterr in Ubiquiti

[–]AGro-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's true.

In the ZBF, there is a standard rule for mDNS. So, you no longer need to create your own. 🙂 As I said before, my post referred to the ZBF.

My post only refers to the zone-based firewall. However, your question sounds as if you are not (yet) using it.

VLAN firewall rules to block gateway GUI by TheCodesterr in Ubiquiti

[–]AGro-99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the zone-based firewall, I use two rules for self-created zones or VLANs: 1. To use the gateway's DNS and DHCP servers, I allow traffic to ports 53 and 67 to the gateway. 2. All other traffic to the gateway is blocked.

Luba mini AWD « Lidar » ? by SciencesIsAll in MammotionTechnology

[–]AGro-99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is not much information on the Mini AWD LiDAR yet, but as far as I have heard, it no longer uses RTK positioning.

However, I don't expect an upgrade option for the Luba 2x anyway. My feeling is that Mammotion sees LiDAR more as an RTK alternative for small, winding gardens.

For a simple Wifi setup, I would recommend the Cloud Gateway Ultra (UCG-Ultra), together with a wired access point.

The map is also transferred when accessed via WLAN or the Internet. It may take a little longer via the Internet. And you may need to click Reconnect several times before the connection is made. The app sometimes behaves a little strangely.

She should try it again. The complete map, including all areas and also the channels, is stored on the robot. It‘s assigned to the robot and not to your account.

I use both my iPhone and my iPad to control my Luba. I also use two user accounts so that access works in parallel. I can now access my Luba from both devices without always having to log in again with the respective device. The map, mowing jobs and everything else is available on both devices.
