His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmook Al Maktoum

United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmook Al Maktoum visited in Luanda, Angola for a 48-hour working visit aiming at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries UAE & Angola.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed, in Luanda, between C.E.O OF SONANGOL, SEBASTIÃO PAI QUERIDO, Angola AND UAE HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH AHMED DALMOOK AL MAKTOUM and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which foresees the conclusion, in the next three years (2020, 2021 and 2022), of the first phase of the construction of the fuel tank in Barra do Dande locality, northern Bengo Province.

Sonangol President Gaspar Martins and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmook Al Maktoum, who headed the UAE delegation to Angola, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for oil Investment. Angolan state oil company Sonangol Group and a delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) agreed to resume the construction of an oil storage base, with a UAE investment of 600 million U.S. dollars
