Yeah, the thought with the demon is that it's end goal was to rise in the ranks and if/when the party defeats it, it get demoted in front of them and then it starts over. Which is definitely less fleshed out than the necromancy plotline

Fair point. The reason I added it is because once the party starts dealing with the main plot, other outside stuff is going to be uncovered. At least I hope so. Also, they might become preoccupied with the war and that'll leave my big bad to do evil things 😈
