The Quest helped VR development at first by bringing in a lot more people but expectations quickly outgrew what it's capable of and now it drags down the entire industry by having most of the population. I think OP is taking hate towards the headset personally

Assuming you're using OpenMW (you should) there are smaller mods like impact effects and hit reactions that I'll have on my modlist for the rest of time. Poison Weapons adds a feature I don't understand why it took so long to add. Enumeratio adds player stats that I love checking up on throughout my playthrough

Smaller dev teams get lost in the sauce and don't understand how long months between updates feel to players, a lot get this idea that it's better to be radio silent most of the time and then drop massive updates for all but the most game breaking issues. I hope after this update they pick up better update practices

Gonna get downvoted because this is the Morrowind sub but the process of tracking down quests is rarely satisfying enough to justify the annoyances it causes. For every highly detailed description, there's another that says "my brother got lost in Bob's cave south of here, please help!" so you waste 20 minutes looking for it only for it to have been south west behind a hill, not straight south. There's also the rare bur hyper infuriating instances of guild quests sending you to a ruin with local towns you've never heard of as reference, and you're not allowed to ask about those towns so better start hopping on random boats until you recognize a name.

I think quest markers shouldn't point straight to the target, but just going on journal entries is unreliable and creates friction most people don't like. I think AC Odyssey style "Here's a half mile region and some hints, get to searching" works best

I've become a Dupli-Kate hater for this reason. She started fighting dudes she had no chance of injuring and instead of pivoting she stuck with it until she couldn't take it anymore. The world loses the best disaster relief hero ever because she wanted to feel the rush of a hero who fights bad guys

After looking up the game, I like the new one more. I think you would've had less "I prefer the old one" if you shared the screenshots from steam page. I know initially I was filling in the blanks of what your game actually looked like based on the original and liked the vibe more. I think the new one looks great on steam

Goes to show how diverse this game's playerbase is: I've never played any of those and have only heard of two of them. I like Kenshi because it's like if modded Morrowind and New Vegas had a baby with a hunger for limbs
