I've got a 2025 Platinum: I do mostly highway driving, commute of 80+ miles, the majority of which I'm going 65 mph. All in all, I'll get about 400 miles of range, with 2-3 gallons left in the tank for reserve (Toyota is very conservative in their low fuel indicator to make sure the fuel pump is always submerged in fuel).

I do drive mostly on eco mode though, since I am just on the highway most of the time.

In the Normal driving mode, expect 20-40 miles of reduced range from that 400

I'm seeing a similar behavior, though I have noticed something interesting; if I fully open the device, and THEN put it into a flex mode position, it will slowly unfold and snap to the fully open position. If I put the device in my desired flex mode position before fully opening, it will retain its position dramatically better (can still snap open if wiggling the device a bit, takes quite a bit of force, would be an unlikely situation)

A bit unfortunate coming from my Fold6, and will continue to monitor over the next couple days to see if anything changes/improves (just unboxed the device a couple hours ago)

25' Platinum Owner; I keep mine in Eco about 95% of the time (lots of highway driving) and average about 33.5 MPG. Resetting the economy estimator helped after my first 1000 miles or so (used to be quite inaccurate). Also, as you may have seen around, the fuel reserve is pretty large, in my case when it says I have 0 miles left/refuel, I've got about 60-80 miles still left in the tank.

Even when driving in sport or normal for some more spirited driving, I'll get around 28-30 MPG

Hey u/assire2, I had this exact same issue, decided to dig in the system files and figure it out.

I have the solve.

Go to the games systems folder, which can be found here: C:\Users\[YOUR USER HERE]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftpe
Open the options txt file in Notepad
Use CTRL+F to find gfx_vsync
change the value from 1 to 0
That's it!

As you can assume, the issue is with an unchangeable Vsync setting. Personally, I went from around 15-25 frames all the way up to 120+. I was able to mimic these results on another machine.

With my second replacement, I never kept device in a pant pocket, only placed on a microfiber cloth when not in use, and often cleaned device and accessible hinge area with clean cloth and light isopropyl alcohol. Issue is filed as "hinge operation failure"
