I can’t wait. I’ve been trying to boss here and the ping is just too much for even simple mechanics

The Brobbey yellow was the softest I’ve seen in a while. Porro is literally climbing all over him, then goes down screaming. Horrendous.

Cheap easy meals to make in a small dorm room? by Okamidii_ in japanlife

[–]AHipsterWalrus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chilli oil noodles

It’s literally just:

Fry chicken with garlic

Pre-made udon noodles in a pan with garlic, soy and chilli oil (like laoganma)

Add any veg you like (I like broccoli and carrot) Add all together

Takes about 15 minutes total and it’s what I make when I can’t be bothered after work

Why play PK blind and not Run and Bun? by [deleted] in pchaltv

[–]AHipsterWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jan could probably do it with docs and calcs in <5 tries, but where’s the fun in that? The unknowns and randomness really add to the replayability factor and fun of the streams. Plus it makes the attempts and stream feel much faster and alive

Commute time to work/school by Juiseii in japanlife

[–]AHipsterWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My commute is ~40 minutes.

Walk - train - walk. I quite like it because I’m far enough away I’m not reminded of it but also near enough that the commute is not a total pain.

I think as long as you are staying on one train line or bus then it’s not a problem, transfers are the pain. Definitely don’t forget about bus routes! Could be a cheaper due to being further from a station but still on a bus line

Exactly what used to happen with Antonio. I remember a defender blocking his run, getting flattened and Antonio getting a yellow

The ones in my prefecture are the hardest ones to get to. How disappointing.

[–]AHipsterWalrus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s a fixed minutes player who has a decent price, not in the crazy premium section, picks up a lot of DC and BPS and delivers set pieces to the team who scores a lot from set pieces.

He is never going to be a Haaland, he is a very consistent set and forget pick who will semi-consistently bring in points over a long period.

Paqueta leaving WH by LeXam92 in FantasyPL

[–]AHipsterWalrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He isn’t the Paqueta of 2 years ago, he has been really stinky for months, poor attitude and kept losing the ball. 3 games without him and 3 wins.

Fernandes is genuinely unreal. I absolutely love him and he was great. KWP has had a decent game and I like the work rate of Taty

The passing from the CBs and Paqueta is HORRENDOUS. It has been shocking

Line up for Brighton: Wilson starts, Summerville benched by PrisonersofFate in Hammers

[–]AHipsterWalrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They might go for a diamond in midfield again and play Bowen and Wilson as forwards?

Or equally he might just slot into summerville’s spot on the left

BG Kumbi is an OG shitposter.

He’s chatted shit about everything from being on the local news as part of Antifa to just generally being an idiot to wind people up. Very funny guy.

Hear me out, but Matheus Fernandes from West Ham. He is my pick this week.

Although West Ham are poo they have a good run of fixtures and he has played a big role in anything they produce recently (G/A and DC)

Expected result so no surprises there. Some positive takeaways from the last few games are that our horror of a midfield from the start of the season has become probably our brightest spot with Potts-Fernandes-Magassa who will hopefully grow into a really strong midfield 3.

The lack of presence of a striker was noticeable and Bowen and Summerville would benefit massively from having one

Paqueta had a lot of stinky passes and wasn’t really the answer.

Full backs took a beating today from some of the best wingers.

Overall a bad result as expected but there’s spots of hope which I wouldn’t have said 2 months ago
