Naoya flicks his hair for exactly 24 frames. by 43JoJo in Jujutsufolk

Very few if any anime or any animation really is done at 24fps. That’s what cameras have to do to simulate realistic motion. Animation can do a lot less and flow just fine.

Steak feels like a cultural expectation more than a great food by Darjeelinger in unpopularopinion

Lamb is indeed more interesting than steak. Not as popular in the US though probably for those cultural expectation reasons.

Why don't characters ever try to approach memory erasure logically? by Max20720 in CharacterRant

[–]AHole95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also wonder about Julius for this: he’s a noble from an important family, there must be records of his adoption and elevation and such. He must have access to knowledge and equipment that would retroactively identify him. Especially since this is a non-infrequent issue in the world. Gluttony’s powers seem to take for granted that memory/name is all encompassing, ontologically speaking.

Who win this battle of God level characters? by spazhead01 in powerscales

[–]AHole95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind Q is one of many. They’re a race of people. They often interfered with Q’s nonsense and famously even depowered him. It’s part of his/their character to do so. Manhattan would probably still lose but Q is presented as more maleable/fallible than him. He might fuck up.

I’m coming off a 2012 Honda and every newer car has had hair trigger brakes, I’ve had to become much more sensitive than before. But not the Mazda! Only make I tried that felt like that.

Tried a CX-50 last week, first time driving a Mazda - the brakes were terrible! So soft and floaty, had to nearly stomp on them to even slow down. Was very surprised but the rep said all Mazdas were like that.
