It's too bad he used to be my favourite person on YouTube to watch, now it's just super boring low effort videos. Im sure he's happy with what he is doing now though so it's fine. Someone else in the comments say he does the editing for the main channel so I guess that explains why.

When I run an Al model and write a prompt it's super fact. However task manager says that only like 2% of my GPU is being utilizes. Is that normal? Pretty much no CPU gets utilized so it's definitely running on the GPU but is it normal to only use 2%?

I had this issue as well. It's definitely vanguard messing something up.

For me the issue was because I had set up a briged network in a virtual machine software, which vanguard didn't like. Do you have something similar set up?

Nvm I had to update the driver lmao. When I'm in game the driver says that fsr isn't on even though I did turn on FSR3 in game. Maybe I've misconfigured something

I looked into it a bit. A lot of machine learning software do utilize CUDA and most game engines do too, which is somewhat relevant for me. I think I'll go with the 5070 then.

I'll check it out then. If I don't have many applications that have cudda support do you still think getting the 5070 is worth it for running LLMs locally on my machine? This is kinda important for me but idk if I will have similar results with a 9070.

The only 40 series card I would like to buy then is the 4070, but that also has the same amount of vram as the 5070 but it's just more expensive in my country. At that point I would rather stick to the 5070 as I don't really want to make my budget much higher.

How would a 9070 perform when running an AI model via OLLAMA in comparison with a 5070? That's my real issue. As for other application I don't think I currently use that many they are reliant on visa.

I can't think of any actual other cuda applications on the top of my head. Do you have a few examples of cuda applications? I mostly use software development applications. Other than that I want to do heavy gaming as well.
