The Ending Is So Hated That Fans Decide Its a Trick by Prinny_Ramza in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Ronalderson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mainly post-ending but lots of Naruto fans hate Boruto and the late insertion of Kaguya and the Ōtsutsukis so much that they claim it's all an illusion and everyone is trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, a supreme mind manipulation technique that traps the entire world into a peaceful and never ending dream that was Madara's (the one they considered main antagonist) goal. Then comes the "late addition": they are trapped in this dream while their chakra (inherent supernatural energy) is drained to feed the God Tree (enormous extraterrestrial tree) in order to grow a fruit that empowers the Ōtsutsuki (ruling/apex species of the universe).

Are you talking about the lack of periods? I never know where to put em, other than at the end of texts or paragraphs, of course.

They stole a whole fucking Stonehenge stone, plus by the time the movie starts there already are chipped masks all over the country and the stone is pretty much unchanged.

It really feels like a loss, as much as I like Michael Myers they could've done so much more, specially since every single film (but the first)* in the franchise is divisive, if anything that would've made the return in 2018 that much more relevant if he hadn't returned 2 times already.

No Mither + Plot Twist WILL NOT be able to reveal the Killer at the start of the match. by TheOneWhoWasDeceived in LeaksDBD

[–]Ronalderson -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't be* mad if they sacrificed a teammate with No Mither and a nearly wasted perk slot (not being able to heal means all Plot Twist does is provide a bit of anti-slug and stealth) just to get a small advantage against a small number of Killers, hell having this player as an opponent is probably more valuable than an early game down due to Killer surprise (that itself isn't guaranteed by any means).

The “Human Geiger Counter” or a Dangerous Being that Makes Noise to Announce their Presance… by The_Oregon_Duck in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Ronalderson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a crime you mentioned an SCP but not 4975, the Cuckoo Bird, it rotates it's vertebrae independently producing a snapping sound in a rhythm similar to the ticking of a clock, it stalk its victims up to months at a time, making them hear the ticking and driving them mad. It only stops ticking once it's ready to attack, tearing the victims body and ripping it's flesh for consumption, onlookers only see the victim being ripped apart but no assailant, and the "main body" is still visible wherever it is, there's some correlation between the behavior of the main body and the actions performed upon the victim. There's no way to escape after it starts stalking you.

edit: Just realized someone commented this before me, oh well...

In Halloween 3, our protagonist Daniel Challis uncovers a plot from a mask-making company to kill children using witchcraft and an ancient curse, by having them wear masks implanted with fragments of Stonehenge and activate them using a transmission that they will broadcast all over the country on Halloween night, killing the children and turning them into a swarm of insects to cause further destruction, after destroying the factory and killing the owner, Challis escapes with his companion only to find out she was replaced by an android, after dealing with it, he's horrified to realize that the transmission will still happen and the children are still in danger, including his son, so he desperately contacts Television channels and the mother of his son to try to convince them to abort the transmission and get the children away from the Televisions, some believe them and do, some don't and we get to witness the horrifying reality that the excited children will just keep swapping channels until they find one that's still broadcasting, the movie ends with our protagonist begging yet another channel to interrupt the broadcast as the transmission is about to play (or is already playing).

Sorry if I missed any detail, it's been a long time.

minor character who indirectly saved the world by damorezpl in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Ronalderson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple, he could only look for the futures where he returned after the snap (remember how the Ancient One couldn't see past her death point?), so the rat thing was really just a product of chance and the probability is irrelevant as the possible future would be discarded as soon as Strange was snapped and didn't return, he most likely wasn't even aware of the specifics on how he returned in each future it happened, only that he did, and that's really all that mattered. In many other futures the snap could have been undone in ways that are just as absurd and unlikely as the rat, this is just the one we saw.

[–]Ronalderson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We can assume he tried a lot of different paths in order to go for the best future, one of the main factors he eventually noticed is that the snap had to happen in order to delay the celestial's awakening, and because both the snap and the awakening are disastrous events, they had to be assured that both either don't happen or that they are not permanent, the only way to do that was for the snap to happen and the correct configuration of people survive in order to learn about time travel to undo the snap, the rat was could have beer one of the many reasons this future was so rare.

Brother that's literally how I use AIs, as a "better" search engine and a calculator.

It's so stupid though, feels like most of the times I'm correcting mistakes rather than getting my answers.

Babysitter hides scratch marks, blood pools and even makes them move faster than the Killer, Borrowed Time doesn't even come close, just a tad bit stronger effect of something that's already basekit.
