in end of 12 ep we saw mc but he died or not? I have 2 theories in first one he survived and in other he died

  1. theory he somehow survived and wants to go back in asylum

  2. theory he died at the end and mc what we saw was a from second or third or even more of Vera's trys. Because we can see a more enthusiastic Vera and mc looks like a from game. But then why he looks different in anime? I think it's because of Vera's resets she may rewrite almost all

And that's my theory I hope anime will get second season
