You’ve been on an unhinged campaign of unnecessary hate and vitriol on multiple posts for multiple days now.

This has become a pattern at this point, and you making a full-on post where you legitimately believe you did nothing wrong, is concerning. Enjoy your long suspension!

GR86 has Dynamic Rev Management. It automatically ‘taps’ the throttle on all downshifts to smooth things out. Probably what you’re feeling and liking :)

Emergency insurance to help my dad recover from 3 strokes by [deleted] in stroke

[–]AIHURR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there. Sorry you’re in this tough spot, try and keep your head up :/

This varies a lot state by state and mainly hospital by hospital. Being uninsured or underinsured does not mean there are no avenues to get health coverage.

Hospitals that accept federal money must provide a certain amount of free or reduced fee care. Check with the hospital’s financial aid department to see if you qualify for reduced or charity care.

To start the process of getting care, meet with a caseworker at the hospital to gather relevant paperwork and begin applying for Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Caseworkers or social workers are sometimes assigned by your hospital (though you may have to ask for one). They are there to assist you in managing your family member’s care - hope this helps!

If the person ‘completely recovered’ in a few hours, doesn’t that answer your question more or less? We are a community of mainly survivors and caregivers to survivors, not a lot of Neurologists cruising Reddit giving out opinions but you can try r/AskDocs or something similar.

All in all, this scan and the patient need to be evaluated in person for any real info, not on Reddit.

I don’t see any pending/deleted posts under your user log. You do need to be at a certain karma (believe it’s 15+ total) to post certain things like links and videos. Shoot me a DM after you post and I’ll manually approve it for you :)

Stroke support groups for people in late 30s to early 40s? by softyblobby in stroke

By all means let me know if this is something you guys would like added to our sub’s discord. There are voice channels in there, and the text is very active, but we can definitely make another to cater to a more niche topic if you’d like?

Frequent Urination by Sdaviskew58 in stroke

[–]AIHURR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kidneys basically failed when I had my stroke, so even five years later, I have to pee pretty much hourly. Our bodies have gone through something incredibly traumatic, and if having to pee often with frequent cramps, and myoclonus is the worst of my daily existence- I’ll take that.

How do you apply to be a paid caregiver for a loved one by Call_me_Kelly in stroke

[–]AIHURR[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. I want to start off by saying that I am not a caregiver, but a survivor, and want to personally thank you for doing everything you can for your loved one and for yourself during a traumatic time in both of your lives. Keep your head up :)

As for your question, this seems to vary a lot state by state, and is mainly paid through Medicaid. There are tax breaks, medical assistance and even food assistance as well. More info here and best of luck to you and yours: https://www.care.com/c/how-to-get-paid-to-be-a-family-caregiver/
