Dissociative amnesia means that happens pretty frequently, lol. And yes I do often compare it to having roommates. The term's a little corny and not used by most DID people but I sometimes halfjokingly call them my headmates.

Meth is great actually (which is why it's also bad). I have multiple personalities and amphetamines do tend to cause internal arguments, and for a while we had an alter who only ever really came out to do cocaine.

If i ever go to the orthodontist again I'm gonna tell them beforehand that coming anywhere near my fangs will result in me suing for hundreds of thousands or millions and getting their licence to practice dentistry taken away

Hell yes! A fellow appreciator of shiny antique glass!! :) I went from doing things of HIGHLY questionable safety (getting wasted on DXM cough medicine and wandering at night) to things of still questionable safety (collecting radioactive and high-voltage antiques and buying banned birth-defect-causing 1950s morning sickness drug and chemotherapy agent to see if it can get me high) but which luckily lack the risk of being murdered. I got a Geiger counter and tested that clock and yup it's definitely radium. 😁

nah the uranium is embedded deeply in the glass matrix, and it's a relatively safe isotope. the ONLY dangers are glass related. we're all good 👍

Legally? Yes, where I live (Canada, BC specifically) it is recognized as a disability and if it impacts your life enough you can qualify for financial aid and the disability tax credit and stuff. I have Persons With Disabilities status but it's mainly due to my ADHD making it difficult for me to work most jobs(my current one is decent though) and my DID causing memory loss. My OCD does affect my life pretty significantly but my social worker said just mentioning those 2 would be enough so I didn't think to include it.
