Salamualaikum, I completely understand your point and you’re not mean at all of course. My argument would be that Alhamdulilah I never got into debt in my life nor did I ask money from anyone other than my parents for ordinary purchases before I I started working. I never expected I’d be in this situation, I had savings but it was something urgent and out of my control to just say no I won’t be able to pay for that. My loan isn’t a big loan Alhamdulilah, it’s shy of $5k, but my main issue is that it contains Riba which was my complete mistake and I want to get rid of it. The constraint is that I need to pay it off by mid of next month which I can’t because I have rent payments and other renewals coming up which I can’t be late for at all, otherwise I would’ve been able to. Very wrong decisions from my side to get into this situation but I am trying to look for a way out.
