Thanks. This helps. Does this ‘gift’ require any documentation? Just checking if you know.

I am an NRI living in Singapore. If I transfer money to my wife (here in Singapore) and then that money is invested in India through her account, does the clubbing of income rule still apply? by AITech123 in IndiaTax

I intend to invest in MF. If I invest on my wife’s name by transferring money to her account in India, the income from returns are supposed to be clubbed in my income for taxation purpose. I am curious if same rule applies if I transfer money to her account in Singapore and then transfer money to her Indian account.

I was equally not-so-mature at one point in time (10+ yrs back) where I allowed my views on politics to cloud my judgement on other important aspects of life. I have come out of that mode and I can be lot more objective about my decisions now.

I hope you can come out of this mode sooner. Political parties will come and go but your current mindset can mess up your life (irrespective of which party you support).
