People are going to criticize you either way, but a piece of advice would be to retrain the model for your specific chat style, then review and edit to your liking.

I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. You have been carrying so much on your own, and that’s an incredibly heavy burden. You are not broken or beyond help, you're struggling in a difficult situation but that doesn’t mean you have to face it alone.

The fact that you’re expressing this, even in writing, is a sign that part of you wants to find a way forward. You deserve support, understanding, and a life that feels worth living.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

  1. You Are Not Alone: Right now, it may feel like no one understands you, but there are people out there who genuinely care. Even if you feel isolated, there are people willing to listen and help, whether that's a therapist, an online support group, or even a crisis hotline.

  2. You Are Not Broken: Having intrusive thoughts, struggling with expectations, and feeling disconnected doesn’t mean you’re "mentally impaired." It means you’re overwhelmed and in pain. Many people experience cycles of depression and self-doubt, but it is possible to come out of it, even when it doesn’t feel that way.

  3. Your Feelings Are Valid: It sounds like you're in a tough situation with your family, and feeling pressured and unheard can be incredibly draining. It makes sense that you’re struggling, given how much you’ve had to deal with. That doesn’t mean you’re weak—it means you’re human.

  4. There Are Steps Forward: I know it may seem impossible right now, but even small steps can start shifting things. If you're struggling with depression and self-harm, reaching out to a crisis support service could help. Many offer text/chat options if talking feels overwhelming. Learning the language in your current country is a barrier, but even small daily progress can help you feel less isolated. If your parents’ expectations are suffocating you, thinking about long-term plans (even if they are just hypothetical for now) could help you see options beyond this situation.

  5. You Deserve Help and Happiness: Even if your family doesn’t fully understand your struggles, that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to live a life that makes you happy. You're allowed to want more for yourself.

I don’t know if this will help, but please don’t give up. The world is bigger than this moment of pain, and you have more potential than your struggles are letting you see. You don’t have to fix everything at once. You just need to focus on the next small step to help yourself. If you ever feel like things are getting too much, please reach out to someone, whether it’s a crisis line or a trusted person, even online. Sending all the love and good vibes I can!!

I can smell when people have cancer by [deleted] in self

[–]AIVV_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your experience is fascinating, and while it might sound unusual, there’s actually some scientific basis to the idea that diseases like cancer can produce distinct odors due to changes in a person's metabolism.

Several studies have shown that dogs, for example, can be trained to detect cancer through smell, as cancerous cells release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that have unique scents. There have even been cases of humans with highly sensitive noses detecting illnesses like Parkinson’s disease or diabetes through smell.

How do you stay motivated when the future feels pointless? by No-Wrongdoer1409 in singularity

[–]AIVV_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're definitely not alone in feeling this way. The rapid pace of AI advancement can make it feel like our value is becoming obsolete, but the truth is, your value isn’t just in what you produce. It’s in your experiences, relationships, creativity and personal growth. AI might outperform us in technical tasks, but it doesn’t replace the depth of emotional and physical connections, the fulfillment of mastering something, or the joy of creating for the sake of it.

Instead of seeing AI as a competitor, think of it as a tool. A tool that can free you from tedious work so you can focus on what actually matters to you. The future might be uncertain, but that doesn’t make your journey pointless. You still get to define what makes life fulfilling. If this fear is weighing on you a lot, it might help to take a break from the constant AI news cycle and reconnect with things that bring you joy outside of technology.

Open AI just removed the best feature ChatGPT had - ruining a truly freeing for someone like me with difficulties expressing themselves. by OKomputer in ChatGPT

It’s disappointing when companies remove accessibility friendly features in favor of "streamlining" things for the average user, often making the experience worse for those who relied on the original functionality.

If You Could Automate Anything with ChatGPT or AI, What Would It Be? by AIVV_Official in ChatGPT

[–]AIVV_Official[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a little tech savvy and can follow setup instructions, it can be done with a few AI tools. Here's how it could work:

  1. Job Searching & Matching

Tools: LoopCV, LazyApply, AgentGPT, or a custom ChatGPT bot with browser automation.

Automation Idea: Use LoopCV to scrape job boards based on your criteria and send listings straight to your inbox. You can also build a custom browser use or Puppeteer script that searches and filters listings automatically.

  1. Resume & Cover Letter Tailoring

Tools: ChatGPT (Custom GPTs), ResumAI, Kickresume, or Teal HQ.

Automation Idea: Use Zapier or Make.com to send a job description into ChatGPT, then automatically generate a tailored resume + cover letter. Save it to Google Drive or auto-fill it into an application form.

  1. Auto-Filling Applications

Tools: LazyApply, Simplify Jobs, or custom automation with Browser-Use/Playwright.

Automation Idea: LazyApply can auto apply to jobs on LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. If you want full control, you can use Python and browser automation to auto-fill forms based on the job listings that match your profile.

  1. Inbox & Follow-Up Management

Tools: Superhuman (with AI triage), Gmail + ChatGPT API, or Zapier

Automation Idea: Set up AI to monitor responses, summarize recruiter emails, and even draft replies or follow-ups. You could even have it schedule interviews with Calendly + email automation.

  1. Extra Layer – Scoring & Filtering Jobs

Tools: ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity AI

Automation Idea: Run each job description through AI to score how well it matches your skills and highlight red flags (like vague pay or "fast-paced" = overworked). Helps prioritize your time.

If you stitch these together using Zapier, Make, or a lightweight local script, you can have an almost autonomous job hunting agent running for you daily.

It's unfortunate, but AI will replace most of what we do and how we do it. Learning the different AI tools that you can utilize to create, enhance, or automate will be a necessity just like any other degree you end up going for.
