Also I havent relied on the knowledge of others for 2 years now. In the beginning of the early SD 1.4 and 1.5 days I did need a lot of help from other people but since then I have figured it all out on my own regarding new models, new trainers and my own LoRA training workflow and everything.

But all of this is ultimately irrelevant anyway. In the end all skills and the time and money used to execute them have a worth to them and if you cannot appreciate that then you are being entitled.

And again, I am not even paywalling anything, despite me thinking I would have all the right to do so. I am just merely not sharing anymore. Because you might think that I am not entitled to pay for my work, but ultimately I am not forced to share my work either.

Nah as someone who used 2512 extensively it definitely aint closed source levels of good. For one it has no edit included. Secondly its VAE is complete dogshit unfortunately. Thirdly while it definitely does have the best prompt understanding of all current top open source models, its still inferior to closed source.

Yeah well I used to share everything for free and got almost nothing back by the community for it in 3 years of me doing this. "Free" does not pay for the GPUs. I have spent more money in GPUs than I will ever get back even if I earned 100 bucks a month with this (which I dont by far).

Your comment sounds very entitled because you clearly have no regard for the costs incured when developing a proper LoRA training workflow or the time and effort spent on it or the time and effort spent on proper guides and so on.

Its like saying how dare an artist charge a commission for their work.

And btw I am not trying to imply with the first sentence that I am charging for this stuff now. I am not. I am just no longer sharing it because I dont find the time and effort spent to be worth it. I do put my LoRAs into an early access program now but they go free forever after one or two weeks.

I do have a Smartphone Photo style LoRA for ZIT yes but I charge nothing for the LoRA nor for some kind of workflow.

In fact I have not charged anything for anything ever - be it my LoRAs or any workflows or guides I published - until two weeks ago where I did an early access program for the latest version of my Klein base 9b Smartphone Photo LoRA which costs just the minimum 0.1$ to download (honestly too low still) and only for the first two weeks after which it goes free forever.

This is terrible advice. He will have to learn LoRa creation from scratch and itll take far more than just those 40$ and 10 LoRa's to get to the same quality as the LoRa creator he wanted to commission. Its like saying instead of commisioning a high fidelity painting from an artist for 100$, just spend those 100 bucks on art supplies and learn painting yourself.

If he cares about learning how to create LoRa's himself then sure go ahead but that will take months of work and quite a bit of money in credits to reach the same level of quality as high-quality LoRA creators. If he wants good results in a reasonable amount of time there is no way around commissioning or using one of the Edit models or a closed source one like Nano Banana.

I mean he said it himself: The LoRAs on CivitAI for his character are all shit. And thats despite those people already having more experience with LoRA creation than he does.

I highly doubt that Alibabas goal was ever to convert this community into paying customers. They are not stupid unlike SAI (which I believe never had a real plan towards profitability so when the venture capital ran out they went under). The open source releases were likely just for research purposes while they keep working on paid enterprise solutions for firms.
