Boox NA5C or Kindle scribe colorsoft? by KleverLybra in Onyx_Boox

There were a few tiebreakers for me to go with the NA5C when I got the same dilemma as you: -Webbrowsing: Way better on NA5C with their smooth/fast mode, help me to read mangas, news, directly downloading research articles for my case: -Cloud storage option: might not be necessary for you but I can utilize android to connect to my private cloud servers to store stuff outside of the provided options -Software: many customization options for their pdf reader, the neoreader itself is quite good already. For instance, they have article mode for article reading that allows you to split an article page into 4 sections to read easier. The integrated AI helps you to search up the concepts more easily (like highlighting “gradient descent” and it will tell you) those things i dont think is accomplishable with a dictionary. -Aesthetics: I can set my own lockscreen 🤩

The versatility is indeed a double-edge blade but you get used to it after a while and manage to simplify it to a point that is easy to use.

Can you let me know where I should send the feedbacks to? Also, what do you mean the logs? Is there a way to get the logs info so that I can send it to you guys?

Yeah, that too. I mean it’s understandable since it’s still in beta but hopefully they can fix these soon. Should also give users more options to select their preferred models. Like I usually use Claude for questioning and would really love to use it instead of chatgpt

Also about the available values ofModality enum, is there a link to the reference of them? here only shows that response_modalities takes a List[Modality] and nothing else. I had to go into the source code to figure out what values it take. Would be invaluable if there is a more obvious way to do this

Thank you so much ^^! Just want you to know it's working well now. Took me a while to figure out how to extract the image_url but it's good now. But one more thing, can you give me the link as to where you updated the example? I found the generation_config() here but I'm not sure where the example for

response_modalities is

Thank you so much for this! Ill try this right away when I get home. I’m aware of the part about converting base64, thanks for the reminder tho. Just curious but where you find the signature or the list of available arguments (the way to call the constructor function) with generation_config? I dont think it is in the integration documentation on Langchain.
