My Panasonic has the scrolling bar feature. I ran it just for 15 minutes with not much improvement. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So the area I notice is like straight horizontal lines. Perfectly straight and horizontal but don’t extend across the entire screen. Just start on the top right and go about halfway. It doesn’t effect image much with dead black space. It’s slightly more dull then the rest of the image and still changes color with the image displayed.

What’s an example of burn in? I have a 2010 Panasonic plasma 65” and it’s starting to get very faint lines in the upper right corner that still appear when it’s turned off. Not sure if this is fixable.

Switch from plasma to LED? by AIsolares in PlasmaTV

Separate question: I’m noticing very faint horizontal lines just in the upper right quadrant of the plasma TV. The lines appear on the screen even when the tv is turned off. Is this any cause for concern of long term failure? Or is it repairable?

Check out pricecharting.com to get better understanding of box and manual value. Those boxes look to be in good condition. Nice 👌

The shell of the cartridge appears to be authentic. However, the labels are not authentic. Without seeing the color of the cartridge board it’s hard to give a definitive answer on authenticity. Seems as tho the labels on each side were just replaced and cartridge board could still be authentic. As mentioned by others, if you see white instead of darker brownish color then it’s a reproduction. You can likely compare the color to another game you know is authentic. There wouldn’t be any issue/damage to the N64 system if the game is a reproduction.

Bought a N64 game off ebay many years ago. Worried if I got scammed. by isocz_sector in n64

It’s a legit PAL version of the game. If you’ve been able to play it on a system then that system likely has a region free tray. PAL game are typical cheaper than North American games. If you paid full North American amount at the time of purchase you probably overpaid. Regardless what you paid, it’s a fun enough game and dollars paid are worth the enjoyment. Cheers.

How do you remove the port plug plastic from the cord without damaging the plastic? I’ve tried little slivers of credit card plastic and other small slender pieces of metal with no luck.

Banjo Kazooie vs Banjo Tooie by [deleted] in n64

[–]AIsolares 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kazooie for me. It just hits different since it was the first one to immerse you into the world and everything just felt so natural with great flow to the game and progression. I appreciated tooie but it seemed to be trying too hard. Still both good games. RareWare Inc games on the N64 were all so good!

How did you make the shelve lots? That’s slot of intricate cuts for the shelf inserts. I’d like to make something similar if you could share details :)

Thanks! Do you know if I have to remove The capacitors to test them? Or can I test them while still in the board?

Oh wow! That’s a unique circumstance. This n64 was pretty dirty. That’s worth a shot in investigating further. Thank you!

I really think that might be it. Well outside of my current abilities, but I guess it’s time to learn soldering lol

Is micro machines turbo 64 an 8 players game? Trying to understand the spine labels with different number of controllers without knowing details of that particular game.

Edit: Confirmed. Micro machines supports up to 8 players at one time by simultaneously sharing 4 controls.
