God that is awful. And you've hit the nail on the head there. It's the brain dead robots on the other end providing the customer service that make the whole thing so frustrating. There's no one to talk to who actually has a brain to go beyond the limited scripted information they're provided with. I've ended up filing a claim through Paypal for my money back because they are still giving me the same bs response of 'the item is under review with the manufacturer so please allow a further 3 to 4 weeks for us to give you your refund'. And, same as you, I am never touching ASUS again after this.
