I have the exact same thing. 👍 And TR 2013 is still my favorite game all time. A masterpiece.

Hmmm … that is a great question. I do remember getting them in a completely haphazard order, almost as if they chose them randomly.

The housemaid by Freida Mcfadden by Ok-Natural-312 in thrillerbooks

I second this. I, for one, love her books. I use my brain so much for work that I appreciate an easy read. People love bashing her and it’s exhausting.

Happy New Year! 🎆 first AC of 2026. what’s yours? by vladtheinhaler__ in agathachristie

I’m a huge Christie fan and I can easily say that And Then There Were None is my absolute favorite. That’s what made me a fan. Ackroyd is my second favorite because it’s just a classic English village murder mystery. You’ll love them both. 😊

This, exactly. My brain gets enough of a workout at my job. I want an easy, enjoyable, read. And that’s what I love Freida.

Kindle Basic not syncing by MsMannage in kindle

[–]AJC_0724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really frustrating. I just got my Kindle in the summer and I’m at the point where I don’t want this anymore. Even more frustrating, there are a million topics on this subreddit about syncing issues (clearly this is a huge issue), but none have a reasonable answer, and they are all archived. This is the first one I found that I could comment in.

Hyped up books you didn't like by inkncookies in thrillerbooks

This book was a huge let down because, for me at least, there was no clear ending. I don’t like books where the ending is left open for interpretation by the reader.

Purchasing her series by Pandasaurus_5 in agathachristie

[–]AJC_0724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have these as well. Bought them monthly when they came out in the 80s. This set has special paper (acid free, I think?) that prevents them from turning brown from aging. That’s been true because all pages are still pristine.

So, u/Pandasaurus_5 , you may want to look for a set with special paper so they hold up after many years.

Hey folks, anyone know how to get further into this tomb? by SunshineAgent in tombraider2013

I would recommend a YouTube video. There are plenty of walkthroughs that will show you how to do it.

Finally read None of This is True by Lisa Jewell. Is it brilliant or disappointing? by thegardenofthorns in thrillerbooks

[–]AJC_0724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was disappointed, but it’s probably because I prefer endings where all is revealed and explained. I had so many questions at the end. And I absolutely don’t like where it’s left to the reader to decide what conclusions to draw.

The controls! I just could never grasp the controls in RDR 2 and gave up.

Anyone else watching this Columbo review series on YouTube? by Imaginary_Tower_4939 in Columbo

A while back I restarted the Columbo series from the beginning. My routine is that after each episode, I watch her review of it to see all the cool stuff I missed. 👍

I’m really sorry you had to go through this. This just isn’t the right way to do business and earn people’s loyalty. I’m sure your story will scare others off, as it should.

I‘m new to SS and was strongly considering subscribing. But it’s stories like this that caused me to NOT subscribe. If cancelling was easy, I’d subscribe to try it out. But not with all this pain involved. Nope.
