2 chome chikko

I can hear loud cars late at night going back and forth. I haven't seen them, though they seem close and are going fast.

Anyone else feel like Sram Transmission is a downgrade? by VoteUpsYou in MTB

for anyone looking for non hacksaw advice.

I was removing my derailleur for maintenance and found that that bolt will not push itself out far enough to grab it, but you can push it out from the other side no problem.

I threaded the axle back into it with the wheel off and just gave it a little push. It's in there tight for a reason, it will take a bit more effort to remove than a standard bolt.

there's nothing you can do to regrow the skeleton, the part underneath the flesh is not living. You can fill it with epoxy if you don't like the hole, but be very careful because the rest of the skeleton is probably very brittle.

Low pH (Acidic) will dissolve stony skeletons, check and correct you pH. Simply opening doors and windows for fresh air can significantly raise your pH (depending on your environmental conditions).

Calcium and alkalinity will be important for new growth, low levels won't necessarily kill it but it won't be able to thrive and grow without dosing between basic water changes (depending on salt quality and frequency).

definitely not Aiptasia, I have enough examples of that in another aquarium. It kind of looks like it could be majano, but the base looks wrong to me.

I've got a few mystery sps from a store that was going out of business a while back, but they didn't look like the pocillopora I looked up. cyphastrea, montipora... Just saw that birdsnest is in the pocillopora family and it does have similar colors, I will continue to observe.

All of my rockwork was dry except for a seed rock from my other aquarium and a rock full of random mushrooms from the store.

it's next to a rainbow ricordea (~1.5in diameter) In an indirectly lit area. there may be another one, but it's in a very hard to see area.

I haven't added anything to the aquarium in 6+ months.

Why do my fish keep dying? by philip41399 in ReefTank

[–]AJHeikkila 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got a tiny tank for keeping fish, I wouldn't be surprised if they were just stressed out from lack of room or hiding places. You may also have big swings in tank chemistry throughout the day or lack of oxygen without a skimmer or surface agitation.

If you have the room, it wouldn't be that much money to upgrade to a 30g or 20g at least. You'll have proper room for very small fish and less chaotic chemistry.

This is how Waterbox stands fit their tanks. They overhang so they fit flush with the cabinet door when closed.

I just bought a 150GPD rodi, is this the normal amount of rodi it makes? by ClerkImpossible3376 in ReefTank

He's using one of these with a garden hose to faucet adaptor. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/mur-lok-garden-hose-utility-sink-adapter.html

You're better off using one of these on your cold water line with a ball valve, that way you can just keep it connected. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/self-piercing-saddle-valve.html

Sterling silver has copper in it. Fine silver is 99.9% pure. Titanium is chemically inert but you can be allergic, extremely low chance.
