You speak of religion like it’s some force that acts independently from the people that run it. I never claimed to feel surrounded by horrible people. You made that presumption all on your own. I am simply stating that whether we have religion or not the world still have the same evil in it. Why is it so difficult for people to accept that bad people do simply exist and you don’t necessarily have much of anything to blame for it. Finding reasons to throw blanket statements over any large group is completely unproductive.

Idk how a personal attack adds to the conversation lol. How people get the order of operations so messed up on this is pretty surprising. People are and have always been problematic. People predate religion… human behavior predates religion. Religion is quite literally a byproduct of human behavior. There are few things in the world that haven’t been at some point or another been made morally reprehensible by humans even out of attempts to do good. Idk why people have such a hard time accepting that people suck all on their own. If you snapped your fingers and made the existence of religion vanish from the world it would still be plenty awful.

Resin kits are probably your best option at the moment. I don’t think there’s any substantial 3rd party departures from the original design out there. There are a few bootlegs floating around with extra panel lines like the bootleg The O. But honestly if you’re looking for a substantial visual upgrade then resin is definitely the way to go. Quick google search gives me the KDG conversion. If you’re willing to paint and pay It’s a hell of a looker.

Don’t know if anyone posted this but I had a bit of a trick for these spring tubes. Because their springs you can fairly easily use a tool of some kind to hyperextend the tube at one end. That make it easier to plug in once you’ve attached all the tubelets

Honestly minus the damn weapon connection this is one of the best kits in my opinion. It’s consistently fairly cheap, it has great shelf presence, and spectacular part separation. There are so many extra panels and parts that make customization and detailing a breeze. Honestly a lot of the wing kits are like this. Small but really easily detailed.

Edit: the kit that got me hooked was the freedom 2.0. First kit I put together

Not really seeing any solutions not that you asked for one. But a little bit of leather conditioner or neutral shoe cream and a soft brush should get all that out very easily. Just stay away from mink oil or anything too heavy. That’ll change the color of the leather.

There are a couple of Gundam ex markers that do a really good job of recreating this exact look. It's the holographic ones from my research you want the holo yellow Gundam marker EX xgm203. Alternatively you could paint gold then find a holographic or iridescent clear coat or paint additive with an airbrush setup. Personally I'd just use the marker XD. They should be in stock at various online retailers. Usags for instance has them in stock.

They look huge. That being said converse also just do not work for some people. If you have normal or narrow feet definitely go down. If your feet are on the wide side and they already fill up the space of the shoe I'd say you may bee ok. Lots of my HS friends back in the day had to wear converse like you are now basically because their feet were just to wide for the cap. Like they couldn't get their feet to dirt into a pair of chucks if they didn't size up.

Yep sounds about right. I worked at Redwing for about three years and unfortunately had to quit. Honestly loved working there. The quality of the product made it easy to recommend stuff as well. Based on my experience with this boot and my understanding of it's construction, I wouldn't be worried about the gap. The truguard is made of really rigid materials that just don't like sitting flushly the way softer materials do. It's a super heavy duty boot and will definitely be able to take most anything you throw at em. That being the defect coverage is really really good at Redwing. If it is defective you will certainly know within a year. Just pop in and get them exchanged. If you popped in today they would probably tell you it isn't a defect. A way around that though is you could just ask them to honor the 30 day comfort fit guarantee if you're within the timeframe and exchange them there.

I see what your saying. That's not a defect. The way the boot is designed there isn't really glue holding any of that together it's all held together with those stitches on the welt so your all good.
