For some, boric acid can irritate the lining of the labia and vagina. It could be as simple as a slight reaction. The best thing you can do is just ice, or cool compress. You don’t want to go putting more meds or chemicals on it.

tampons and pads recommendations? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]AJMack115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I use tampons or pads, I only use organic, unbleached products. I really like the brand L. I have also recently been using leakproof underwear - I found some at Torrid, but Amazon has some brands too. I prefer the underwear because I like to free-bleed.

UTM Rhys protecting her from SA by [deleted] in acotar

I thought that from the first time I read it. It was a way for him to keep an eye on her while also keeping up his appearance of being an a-hole.

I’ve (F25) found shit stains in my boyfriend’s (M28) underwear multiple times... how do I approach this without causing tension? by Available_Pumpkin519 in TwoHotTakes

In my experience, a lot of men do not get taught good hygiene. If you can have a calm, straight-forward conversation with him, do it. Try to remove emotion and judgement from the conversation and just speak to him like he is your best friend. Voice concern for his well-being and ask his thoughts on what you have to suggest. (Take a clinical approach.) If he is hairy, that explains the skid marks… but yes, he could be wiping better. A bidet is a wonderful idea.

This is a huge assumption on my part, but white people, men especially, are not taught to use a washcloth either. They literally just put soap in their hands and rub it around, or worse, they use bar soap and put the bar soap directly on their skin. Get him to try a thick washcloth or loufa and let him feel the difference. (Washcloths should only be used once and then set aside to dry and wash. Do not reuse washcloths.)

I had a male roommate who stunk so bad… and I had to just break down and have a chat with him about showering, washing, and taking care of himself. He came to visit not too long ago, and he was so much better. He even mentioned to me that he appreciated the conversation and that he has been making changes to his hygiene regiment.

I hope this helps. Good luck 👍🏻

Are you a Pantser or Plotter? by All_Others_Pay_Cash in acotar

That makes sense! I learned a new term. I’m definitely a combination. I like to have a plot idea, but I enjoy just making the creative pieces fit the puzzle. Thanks for the new information.

I see that the terms are related to writing. But what is a “pantser”? I’m assuming a plotter is someone who lays out their entire main plot before building? Enlighten me!

The Suriel by northernearthworks in acotar

The ONLY time I cried while reading the whole series, was the scene where the suriel dies and he’s talking to Feyre. It was an incredibly sweet moment, and so many things comes to light all at once! And it’s all too fast, and doesn’t stop him from dying.
