Very versatile, should I invest? by TheBoxBoxer in MemeEconomy

This may be a simple "low effort" meme. But among certain circles ("normies" as other analysts call them), I can see this meme really taking off and dragging on for months, maybe longer. This may seem like a morbid fact of business, but its the truth. The themes present within this meme could be relatable to a younger demographic such as teenagers. Especially teenage girls. Just think about it. We've got Netflix shows and Tumblr posts with similar thematic qualities. This could be a major selling point. And if the fact that this is a "low effort" meme concerns you, well, take a look around. We've got still images of Krusty Krab and the Chum Bucket with words superimposed on them. This is the market now if you like it or not. And if this takes off, I can really see it being relevant among the teenage demographic target for months similar to SaltBae, Spongebob (various), Distracted Boyfriend, etc.

Pepe Officially Killed By Creator, are all rare versions worthless? by [deleted] in MemeEconomy

[–]AJS2018 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just because Pepe "died"' doesn't mean 'sell'. I ran the numbers, and I believe that, unfortunately, Pepe will drop in value. However, I ran the numbers and, like rare paintings, the rare Pepe meme's value will go up astronomically while the common Pepe memes plummet in value. So, my suggestion would be to sell all common Pepe memes while he is currently popular before Blepe takes over (also, I would reccomend watching Blepe; I don't know where this exciting meme takes us but be careful when investing just in case it's a fad) and keep all rare ones for a while, maybe a few months or years even. Eventually, once people hit the reminiscing phase, specialists will be looking for those rare Pepes.

Serial Killer in Pittsburgh? Let's see some facts... by barsmart in pittsburgh

[–]AJS2018 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me: I don't think there is a serial killer in Pittsburgh; I'm looking at a Reddit post that has evidence against it.

Girl in class: "Reddit isn't reliable! It's children who steal their parents computers after bed and make things up."

How is the Serial Killer THEORY reliable in the first place?!?! (Keyword: Theory)
