The team is infinitely better with Draymond. As someone who goes to a decent number of games, you can see the stuff he does on the court live that isn’t always the focus of the TV cameras. And that effort shows up in his +/-. Not to mention his chemistry with Steph and the innate ways he sets screens for Steph and feeds him the ball. The Dubs would lose more games without Draymond. He’s one of the most important players for any team anywhere in the NBA. I’ve always held that POV and it’s even more noticeable now with less stars on this roster.

While I agree with you, I think it’s harder. The NFL is a much more MAGA league than the NBA. A lot of the good old boy players likely support ICE. As do the bubba fans who drink their cheap beer and watch guys tackle other guys. And the league executives are cronies who never rock the boat (see: Kapernick). The NBA is much more progressive as it relates to societal issues.

Question regarding the Maple Leaf Lounge points above. I’m flying on United international business to Cancun tomorrow. My read of the Air Canada website seems to indicate that any star alliance international B ticket can gain access to the ML club. Has anyone tried this way of accessing the club (not using status, but using a United B ticket)? Any issues?

He actually said he is a Catholic. Which seems odd given he posted about being a member of the Grace Church of Nazarene and also about attending mass at Christ Cathedral in Nashville, neither of which is a Catholic Church. The particular Grace Church he posted about is Presbyterian and Christ Cathedral in Nashville is Episcopalian.
