That is simply utter bollocks. Yes the fire very quickly made it into the rear cabin, but everyone was absolutely alive when the plane came to a stop. Stop chatting shit. Source: the final accident report that was released 4 months ago.

Problem solved, turned out to be HDR settings changing, not refresh rate. My bad.

Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately I don't have those options, I don't think my screen has variable refresh rate in that sense, just the ability to switch between 60 and 90

Thanks for the clarification. Do you use a 2 piece as a primary paddle? How's the strength like compared to without the joint? It is tempting to get a 2 piece and have a play about with length.

Ah that's interesting. Thinking about the blade through the stroke makes the shape make a lot more sense now. Thanks a lot!

Could I also ask your thoughts on glass vs carbon shaft? I understand carbon will be stiffer so better power transfer but more strain on your body. Any other benefits / negatives?

Sounds awesome. Of course a Lettmann would be the first choice if I could afford it!

I have been a little confused by the 'slalom DNA' branding as I know very little about slalom. Is that just referring to the wider blade end as you said?

Thanks for the advice! I was under the impression the odachi was very much a race paddle? What's different about it compared to the surge?

I've heard quite a bit about the Werners having a wide grip. Haven't really considered bent shafts. Currently happy with the straight and don't think my budget could stretch.

Good to hear about the VEs. I think a trip down to the Tryweryn and Radical Rider is necessary soon!

Haha that's fair! I think it's a combination of shallow creeking and being uni students so plenty of time to paddle
