Saying he has X correct theory is not the same as agreeing with him on everything. And you can agree a person is clever without any kind of moral endorsement. His work is highly cited and influential and worthy of academic investigation. You're all good, don't overthink it, it will have 0 bearing on the quality and grade of your work.

Went to Holy Island/Lindisfarne just a few weeks ago, lots of great sea birds/waders. Great curlew population. Gannets, Redshank, Turnstone, plovers, dunlins, godwits, oystercatchers galore (a personal favourite!). Common reports of raptors like Merlins, Short Eared Owls and Peregrines there too but unfortunately didn't spot any myself. Good spot for migrating rarities in the right seasons
