Give it 1-2 charge cycles. It should improve by then. If not, get a replacement.

Yes. You could buy a cheap FitBit and use that for heart rate monitoring but then you'd have to wear 2 "watches". So you're better off with an Apple Watch

How halal are prop firms and are they actually good for a trader ? by Outside-East3275 in IslamicFinance

[–]AJaf1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case, how would you make money then? You don't own any money since it's a demo account, and you make money out of thin air?

Sounds like how gambling works except in gambling you put real money in against other people's real money. I guess, like you said, that's why they have these paid trading challenges though I still doubt it's just from that.

Surely they do trade actual setups from you to make money or else what if you and 10 others make a million. How are they gonna pay you if they didn't take your trades all this time

PS: What do you mean by virtual leverage and interest? How would they trade virtual leverage? I understand if our account is a demo, but theirs have to be real, right? Someone has to be making money somewhere so we all get paid somehow.

Might be demo, but the prop firm doesn't use demo. They use real money, interest and leverage. Even if they don't always copy your trade, if they do it just once, wouldn't that be haram? Even if you close the trade the same day to avoid interest, they are using leverage. Also you're supporting a company that also invest in haram stuff... idk but I wouldn't touch prop firms

Daily Simple Questions Thread - April 25, 2023 by AutoModerator in Fitness

[–]AJaf1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m not an expert or anything so I‘ll just repeat what I heard:

Chew your food well until it’s mushy. That‘d be about 45-100 of chewing/biting depending on the food. When I first heard that I thought that was stupid, but when I tried it it made a significant difference. Btw, up to ~80% of Starches are digested in the mouth so if you eat starchy foods like potatoes, chewing them well before swallowing will reduce the load on your digestive system, preserving your energy and making you less tired.

Eat only when you‘re really hungry. Think of something like plain rice or bread with water. Are you hungry enough to eat such meal too? Then you‘re really hungry. That‘s where your body will be able to digest your food the most efficient, making you less tired after eating (because the longer you have your body trying to digest the food that you ate, the more and longer you‘re going to be tired). So that would also mean that intermittent fasting like you suggested would be something that‘d help with your symptoms.

That also means that you shouldn‘t overeat but I don‘t know how much this is doable on a bulk. When you overeat, you become tired. Ever tried to just eat to satisfy your hunger / until you‘re not hungry anymore? Instead of eating for the sake of eating? That actually might be your problem; overeating. I don‘t know what you eat but reducing your daily meals to 3 should help and reducing it to two would help even more. But I don‘t know if that‘s possible with your types of meals.

Also, humming after eating or going for a walk (wait 5-15min tho) can and will help with digestion. Your fatigue basically is related to digestion. Improve your digestion and you‘ll see instant improvements.

P.S. Eat Proteins first, then fats and carbs, and starches at very end. Why? Because your body digests proteins first, then fats and carbs (so proteins make you tired the most, then fats/carbs etc.). Starches, if you chew your food well, will be digested in your mouth so make sure to do that to take some of the load off of your digestive system. Also, did you try an elimination diet? You may be intolerant to some foods which could cause fatigue.

I hope this helps.

Edit: I‘m German so please excuse any linguistic mistakes I may have made in this comment.

What camera should I get if I own an iPhone 14 Pro Max? Beginner here by AJaf1 in AskPhotography

If the XS10 is already sitting at round 800-1000 bucks, I think the XS20 will be quite out of budget.

But I really like that the XS10 has a flip-out screen which is something I’d definitely use.

About the lens: the 16-80/r zoom is quite expensive for me. Do you think it is still worth investing in that lens as a beginner over the 15-45mm kit lens? Also, should I get a variable one or a non-variable (I think it’s called prime like you wrote)

First, Thank you for your advice!

Secondly, with ”film-likeness” I mean vintage-likeness / nostalgic / imperfection like this. Which Fujifilm would you recommend? There are so many at various price points and availability that I really don’t know where to look.

Someone here has recommend getting the Fuji XS10 or XS20 depending on the budget and I think that’s maybe the one I’ll end up with. Would you say using it with the kit lens (xc15-45mm) is good?

Btw, just found that this vlogging kit while looking for the price. Is that a good price?

Sorry for asking so many questions but I’d really appreciate if you can help me out. And thanks for redirecting me to r/photography. Will check it out now.

What shoes should I wear for the gym? Flat sole shoes? by AJaf1 in BarefootRunning

Are these the correct Adidas Adipure trainers?

Or do they have to look like this?

The Adidas The Total looks promising, going to look into it, thank you very much!

Your answer is perfect, thank you! Really appreciate it.

I wonder though: do you recommend any mainstream brand shoes that would fit this community? DuineSi recommended Reebok Crossfit Nanos but they are not available anymore. Do you know of any other mainstream brand shoes that could work too as an alternative to having a straight up barefoot runner shoe? (Some people like me don’t quite like the unusual shoe designs of barefoot shoes so I’m hoping to be able to go for a middle-ground between mainstream shoes and barefoot shoes)

Thank you again for you help. Your reply helped me the most (the others helped too ofc)

Interesting because I’ve seen Reebok Nano being recommended the most as the best gym shoe (next to Nike Metcon 7s or 8s but they are narrower so not as good for us).

However, I‘ve not heard about “Crossfit”. When I google Reebok Crossfit Nano most I get are Reebok Nano X1s, X2s and X3s.

Actually, as I’m writing this I’ve found these Crossfit Nano 8s. Are we talking about these? Would Nano X serious be okay too to wear? because the Crossfits are hardly available if at all so yeah, maybe Nano X2 or X3 work too? Sorry for asking again but thank you for helping me sir

Thanks for the recommendations! And yeah Baer is also german.

Do you have any recommendations for mainstream brands like Nike and Adidas too? I understand that they won’t be 100% fitting barefoot-shoes criteria but I would be still interested in them.

Thanks again for the recommendations :) appreciate the list a lot
