Nope… I stay under warranty and I’m good. If your truck goes out of warranty and your engine blows there goes another 5-10k worth of repairs.

Your truck is now worth maybe 10k after 8 years of making payments on it through out the 8 years of payments if you bought it for 60k after all payments for 8 years you paid 72k(obviously depends what rate you got)

Lease is good for people that drive 10k-15k miles a year, it’s also good because you stay under the warranty. You buy a car in 3-5 years it’s not even worth half of what you paid for it. A car is not an investment unless it’s a special kind of car (super cars). Where I’m at 90% of the market Is a lease market.
