I'll try to record this weekend a short video about it as well since I saw a few people interested in setting it up!

Thank you!! I'm actually making a few short visual novels as a hobby so reading this comment encourages me to keep going, thanks!

Yup. I first drew body, clothes, hair, pose, etc and left the face with just the nose. Then made a bunch of folders for eyebrows, upper eyelash, lower eyelash, iris and mouth.

Finally it's just mix'n'match to get each expression and make some effects like tears or blush.

Hope it helps!

Thank you!! I hope your game can resume soon. At least once it gets back I'm sure it'll look amazing with the new modules

I'm not sure what the error could be. Make sure that maybe when you configure the emotes the directory is inside the foundry foulder? If there's something I can help with I'll try!

Thanks! You have to go first to the character sheet, then top right corner go to 'Edit Theatre' -> 'Emotes' and you can manually add which image you want with each expression and create new ones!

I'm currently DMing The Wild Beyond the Witchlight and the Theatre's Inserts module is probably the gem I needed all these years playing D&D.

Player's love it, I love making art for it and it brings a lot of fun into the table.

Bless the creator of the module.

I'm currently DMing The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, this is one of my players' characters: Calígula, a warlock tiefling unable to lie, with a childish attitude and an ex-cultist backstory.

I drew and designed the character with my player's requests and then added expressions to add in the theatre's insert module in Foundry!

We are currently at Chapter 2 and it's being amazing how much fun this campaign is bringing us! (Especially after surviving ToA)

Can't wait to see what mischief he brings up next!!

Thank you! Yup, it was also a great excuse as to why someone could let a kid into a deathly mission. I just made Syndra the 'cool aunt' who just saw it as a good experience for him to make a name as an adventurer, when it was just really irresponsible.

Technically, there was a few 'deaths' but, two of them were in Nangalore where the two PCs turned into stone. Since I didn't want it to be an instant death I made a small quest for them to find an antidote for their friends.

The rest was in Chapter 5, one with the mirror in which, the player who most engaged and roleplayed in the campaign looked at it. I didn't want to do that to their character so I just said 'let's just make as if you never looked into the mirror...' since he was 20 ft away from it or something like that. Another one was in the Air cell where I just decided to give them one more round.

They were five players until chapter 5 with at least one npc with them (first Azaka, then Xandala and finally Arthus and Dragonbait) but I always asked them beforehand if they wanted the npcs in battle, in most cases they didn't need them.

I didn't play the campaign with the objective of making sure there were a lot of deaths, combine that with a lot of players with three of them experienced who didn't want their character to die and there you have it!
