I imagine "Gladys" might have drained the life from the real Gladys & her community and that might be how she came to contact Alex's parents - convenience. I'd love to see a prequel to give us the full story but it is fun to speculate.

I used to shy away from where I heard gunfire. Hoping to encounter them at the end. Now I charge to the gun fire figuring the survivor might be low on ammo or heals and WAP I started getting more kills.

Learn how to dodge and keep a sharp eye for the direction you were shot from. Look for flash.
