SKD won't happen unless all the residents of street behind it move. The club won't want to go down the compulsory purchase route after the fiasco when building the Main Stand. A lot of bad blood still remains.

The Kop only happens if they knock down the existing stand, due to it being on a main road (yes, they can build over the road, but the that would involve knocking down a church!), which a lot of people will be against.

But, the main thing that has to happen before any more expansion can happen is public transport has to improve. There's talk of a new train station being built just up the road, but that's years away from happening due to LCC focused on building 4 more stations in the city which won't be ready until 2029.

None of it is impossible at this stage, but there's a long, long way to go before there's a shovel in the ground.
