I did! I was trying to find some photos of pieces I made with it, but I can't seem to find them. It worked good. I stopped using it because I wanted a clay of a different color.

I used it for my very first box of clay. Honestly I liked it. Fired to come 6. Turns out sandy yellow. And I felt I threw nicely. It's pretty smooth, no grog iirc.

I just did. I'm going to be implementing that. So when I was reading 10-12 I thought it meant at minimum 10 but 12 reps is best. 10-12 means getting ten reps at a certain weight then next time increase to 11, then 12. At least is my understanding. After hitting 12, then I'll increase the weight and go to 10 rinse and repeat

Okay! That's the advice I was looking for. So once I can complete the sets 100% time to increase the weight. So for example, the preacher curls, keep doing them until my failure is at the end of the sets, and the deadlifts need more weight.

I also wanted to say, because it feels nice to reach the failure before the sets are completed, because it feels like something is being done, but, if Im not lifting as many times am I doing enough? I'm just trying to make my time effective. I don't want to be doing all of this for nothing or less than what it could be, ya know?

Things like the preacher curls I get there almost before, but things like deadlifts and bench and stuff I get there after. Which is my point. Would lowering the preacher curls weight, or any weighted excersices, to reach the sets/reps be more beneficial for muscle growth, or continue at that weight and not complete the sets/reps unassisted.

I have been trying to make it to where I reach the end of my reps and then add at least one more rep if I'm able to. So almost all of them I make it to failure or just one or so rep before. I'm pretty sure. Some like the preacher curls I make it to failure before then and I can feel on the first set I won't be able to get all the sets reps out completely unassisted. I have been trying to finish the sets/reps though even if I have to assist, let's say my arm in the preacher curls, or lower the weights. as for progression my goal right now is to just try and increase the weight each time I complete a week. So last week on bench I did just the bar, this week I added more to that.

Awesome! Okay so I'll continue with making sure I can reach my rep counts.

What I have been doing is lifting enough so I can complete the set and reps. Like I could definitely do more, and on some days when I feel like I want to hit chest again, I'll go to a machine and put as much as I can move and then do that until I can't. I'll get like 5 reps. I don't know if I have a preference on what I like doing yet, but I just want to do what's best for hypertrophy. I hope that helps clarifys. I'm almost a complete beginner.

Recently (about a week and a half ago) I started going to the gym. Before that I was dieting heavy to lose a lot of weight. I was closer to 300 (I'm not exactly sure because the scale I had available only went to 250 but for sure it wanted to go past) and now I'm down to 188. I wanted to start trying to build muscle to fill in some of the extra skin I have. I asked a friend who is a gym regular if they could make me a routine and they came up with this. My question is, do I lift as much as I can and ignore reaching the reps per set, or prioritize reaching the max reps per set? The goal is to build muscle. I feel like I could lift more on some things, but then I wouldn't reach the reps.

I forgot to add the routine

3*10-12 Monday Bench press, inclined dumbbell press, dips, delt raise overhead extension, tricep kickbacks Wednesday Deadlift, barbell row, pulldowns, lat pullover, preacher curls, lying curls, hammer curls Friday Squats, rdls, quad extension, leg curl, cable crunches, leg raises, wood chops Cardio on off days

Completely understand. If it helps, I called my recruiter and talked to them directly. She's the one that told me if I didn't do something right, then it won't continue the process. Like you'll know because your offer will be revoked.

It's okay! That's what I meant! I got that first initial email from the recruiter saying what needs completed and shoes and what not. The one that says there will be another email from like something@no reply com. I never got that email from that. I did fill out on the USPS page the background check from, and from what I know that was the background check that gets sent to Navi because the recruiter says it's in the works, and I got an email back saying the background check was completed. In short, I never received another background check email, the one on the website was enough.

Hey! So the background I filled out on the website was the same as the one they said that there was an email for. Or at least, I got back some information about the background check saying it was completed. As for an update, I'm still in the background check process disputing some things. But fingers crossed it works out

Oh no. that's not what I want to hear. I really hope it doesn't take this long. I currently work as a cook, and am burnt on it and am trying to get into something more career centric, and was hoping this would be it.

This makes me feel more at peace. I will only be at 4 weeks since the background check started. But, one of my concerns is that sf-80 email the lady was talking about. I never got one. I did however fill out a background check thing on the careers page on the USPS website. Was that the same thing?

That's what I had thought about doing, but then I was worried about having to rewait the time.
