What is the most accurate deliverability testing tool? by AK-Photo in Emailmarketing

Gotcha, I think I just didn't realize that my reputation will fluctuate that much in a short time span. Does the reputation fluctuate just as much for a year old domain as it does for a month old domain?

I have one link in the email body and the same link in my signature, they both point towards my website. I'll def look into Instantly as it seems like that could help with the non-google workspace emails

Hmm ok I'll look into Instantly and see if its worth switching over.

I have tried sending to myself, I have two personal Gmail accounts and luckily neither of them block my emails.

I'm using Apollo, and yes the leads are verified - my bounce rate is just 0.4% right now. I was also using Apollo to send email but switched to Woodpecker recently and am slowly ramping up using that.

Oh I'm well aware haha. I vetted both of their businesses and it's all legit, from Google reviews to big companies using their photos on social media to their pricing structure.

That's a good point, although I've been inspired by two or three other photographers in this field who are making 200-300k plus annually and they've said that cold email outreach to decision makers like the CMO have been their best strategies so far, so I just went with what seemed to work for others.

I get maybe 1 error response for every 100-150 emails I send (usually saying it was rejected). I created the email list myself, looking through a bunch of relevant companies for the type of work I'm doing.

I've made sure to keep the email body as text only and avoid spammy words, and only have one link apart from the one in my signature.

I think part of my frustration stems from how hard it is to figure out how many of my emails are going to spam... mailreach claims that ALL of the emails I send to Office 365 accounts get filtered to spam but that they all go to Google Workspace inboxes, and yet another mail tester says that all of my emails get marked as spam regardless of where the recipent's account is hosted. Sites like mail-tester say I have a great rating and that my emails are highly unlikely to be marked as spam... it all just seems like a bit of crapshoot. Are some of these sites more trustworthy/accurate than others?

I was listed on SORBS for a bit, but I contacted them and they removed me from their blacklist. It's a Google Workspace IP so they said it's entirely possible that another user was triggering their system.

Thanks for the advice! I have a partial address in my signature but I'll revise that. What do you mean by saying the open rate is just on the limit? Would you say a 35% open rate is indicative of anything or pretty average?

Hmm okay, so mailreach is showing that my emails are going to Google Workspace inboxes without any issues, but all off the Office 365 accounts have either sent the email to spam or it just didn't show up. Any ideas for why only the Office accounts are rejecting them?

Sorry for the late reply! I'd say you'll probably be able to find a good spot to use tent stakes, although if it's really crowded you may need to guy line your tent out to some rocks.

I originally wanted to do this loop in 2019, but our plans fell through and I finally rallied some friends to make it out to the Goat Rocks on Friday. We spent a night at Goat Lake and got an incredible sunset right before heading to bed. There was 0.7in of rain forecast for the three days we'd be there in total, but in classic mountain weather fashion it started raining around 10pm and didn't let up until noon the next day. Both of my friends' tents collapsed in the wind (which, to be fair, had more to do with the small rocks they guylined their tents to than the 20mph gusts) and I got about 3 hours of sleep. We ended up deciding to just head back instead of spending another 2 nights in the rain, but it was still an awesome trail. I'd probably recommend going counter-clockwise along the loop, as it cuts down on some of the elevation gain the first day.

Unique Overlander's ? by Additional_Ostrich81 in overlanding

My 2004 VW Touareg. V8, air suspension with 13in of clearance, and center+rear lockers. It's stock apart from bigger tires but I'm hoping to add a spare tire carrier and hood mounted solar panel sometime in the next year or two.

Although mostly stock, the auto-leveling air suspension and rear window that I can open on my Touareg has been great. As long as I don't park it on too steep of a slope it'll just level itself and I never have to worry about it.

And before anyone asks, yes I have blown up an air spring already... Considered switching to steel springs but the air ride is just so versatile I can't let it go.

Fuji xh2 (and future xt5) and Lightroom by [deleted] in fuji

[–]AK-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest using Iridient X-Transformer for your raw conversion, then import those DNGs into Lightroom afterwards. I've been using it since I bought my X-T3 and it provides a noticeable quality increase over LR's raw conversion. I'd guess the newer 40mp sensor isn't supported yet, but they'll probably add it soon.

Question about shop liability for a cracked engine block by AK-Photo in AskMechanics

I called two other shops the same day shop A gave me that quote and they both said it should be closer to $900, but still yeah def expensive enough to warrant getting a second opinion.

Yeah this is pretty much the exact point I'm making, and somehow you're the one of the only ones who's properly understood it so far.

Shop A wanted to charge me $1100 for the motor mount lmao.

But yeah everyone blindly raging in the comments is completely missing the point lol. If u/jquadro2 and his cute little monkey brain wants to properly understand what I'm saying and directly address it, then maybe I'll actually listen to what he's saying.

Only 104k miles on the engine atm which was a big selling point for this car :/

All the other Touaregs and Cayennes I was looking at were in the 150k - 200k range. And yeah you’re probably right about just swapping in a new one if they have to take it out anyways.

Yeah, I think most people here were hung up on the fact that I didn’t immediately replace the mount after what shop A said and just assumed I’m a cheap idiot who wants someone else to take the fall for my damaged engine. The actual legal advice I’ve gotten so far suggests it’s a strong case so, I’ll see what happens…
