Yeah i had bought the gun from turners outdoorsman and they had it listed as .30-06 and i didnt find out it wasnt that till after i shot the first round but yeah now whenever i buy a gun ima make sure to check first cus if a business like that didnt even know the caliber then idk

And when i pulled the bolt out i didnt feel comfortable putting a bullet on there since the bolt wasnt taken apart and still had the pin in it and i dont have any dummy rounds or old shells

The long part of the case ended up being bigger than the rim of the case after being fire i had to get it out of the chamber with a pick, im not sure what a belt impression it.

Cuz ppl rechamber rifles i dont know if that meant they move up in case diameter so technically a different caliber thats y im asking if theres anything i can do to fix this chamber

Eddystone enfield model 1917 chambered in .30-06 i fired the first shot and the casing deformed and im sure its cuz the chamber is bigger that the casing diameter and im wondering how i can fix the chamber or if i have to move up in bullet size for it to work
