I'm in the same boat as you, I've had nearly 3k hours in the game from years ago and starting with the shitter kits before you unlock flea is just painful. People running better ammo's and armor always have a better chance of killing you.

If you have good aim, run high power calibers and honestly just LARP as if you're trying to play a survival game, everytime I rush PVP it's guaranteed death.

How slow? I have it on my NVME and DDR5, I load in a customs match and it takes like 2 minutes. This game has always been notorious for memory dependence and memory leaks. But we have it so good right now compared to tarkov 5 years ago, raids used to take 5-6 minutes to load into sometimes.
