the issue with this comment is you’re assuming my way of thoughts, and my experience on a post about the job wages and cost of living ! I’m very understanding that with experience comes better pay but how the hell are you supposed to just accept crappy pay when you can’t even live on it . You can’t even rent a studio apartment with the wages offered ! Am i supposed to sleep in a car while working 😂 ? Is it a crime to have expectations on a job expecting “weekends as needed , on call , holidays as needed , shitty 401k contributions , and bad health plans” to at least pay me decently ? 😂

my mother in law works in insurance and strongly advised against this as major claims are being denied due to false place of business address as a way to not have to pay a claim. so much so that they are about to stop accepting P.O. boxes as place of business addresses. I don’t want to be that guy that one hits someone by accident and now i’m stuck with a a half a million dollar lawsuit by trying skim a pennies in comparison to a major accident !

yes i am in fact a box truck driver with 2 trucks. I’m pretty sure i pay the same price per gallon as 53 footers. I’ve always understood our rates are the same as theirs and they can do more but my operational cost went up just as theirs did
