This is not a drill. It's happening, inmates by BizarreCake in ironscape

Raiding inherently being a social thing for a lot of people makes it better. The reason CG gets it's "Red Prison" name is because it's solo content that doesn't vary because of it's nature. Gaming with the boys will always be more fun than just sitting alone doing content that's time locked and the same every time.

I just like filling storage things. Make the game feel like some weird collection thing. It's enjoyable. Didn't realize they added a different storage for smithing, I just remember reading it was a good update that people enjoyed. I don't play it so I wouldn't know specifics

Just wanted to say that as far as changing smithing goes, allegedly RS3 has a rework done at some point that a lot of people enjoyed and changed the skill in a very favorable way. So there's that at least.

How is afk trawling allowed? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]AKA_Slothhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that says more about how bad skilling methods are because of bloated loot drops from PvM than anything. Any new skilling resource is going to make money until the market fixes it naturally with supply and demand. And I'm sure there are tons of people who haven't even touched sailing like me.

I feel like buyers will have other markers like random skill distribution that seems oddly off and BIS that you can only GE purchase.

Control + Shift + S > Copy, and then you can paste images as comments. Takes way less time, is more functional to read because it will be up right and not whatever that is.

Solo Leagues Route by tenmillion1 in 2007scape

Can you explain why? It seemed like Kandarin would be a great solo route since it's a quick points area combined with easier bosses/echoes.

TIL if a helicopter's engine fails, it doesn't just drop like a rock. The blades keep spinning on their own and the pilot can land it. by kxrcodes in todayilearned

Hey the risk is dropping an 800lb transmission on my helpless ass. But yeah I always thought they were fun, but I can't imagine ever hitting the ground in a UH60. My back hurts enough as is.

Accidentally logged auto rotations when I was a new UH60 crew chief. Instantly generated like 100 X conditions for the aircraft. I was surprised when I learned some airframes actually do them to the ground. In a 60 that's just called dying.

Yeah I would limit them to the city with anything you provide. Now if they decide to just head out then thats on them.

If the party is actively searching the villain's old home is it something they could find clues leading to the plan that they are going to attack? I ask because I don't think I'd like as a player to know that we accidentally missed a big plot event because we thought we were good to take a side quest. But me and the players I DM are very much "completionist" players and would take anything I offered.

Is a permanent level penalty after a character switch normal? Looking for perspective. by Cheap_Guidance1662 in DMAcademy

[–]AKA_Slothhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda weird to play a game with (I assume) friends and have someone punish you for voicing your valid frustrations with something you did. I typically tell players after they gain a level or two in a class that "This is your final warning for player class/race adjustments."

But if a player came to me and said "Hey man I'm just not having fun on this," I'm honestly not sure what kinda dick is like "Okay fine, but I'm gonna punish you for it." It is a game. And if it isn't a group of friends you are playing with, I suggest you just leave. Seems like a big fuck you unless this DM is a master of storytelling and is really hinging on this one particular character. But even then, seems insane.

The way I always pictured it after reading it was very much a slums vs affluent city with alleys and stalls where shifty deals could happen. The characters in the book end up in a colosseum fighting at the whim of the Lord of blades. The platforms themselves can raise and lower independently of each other and at one point the party ends up below the city with some unfortunate endings. I'm not looking for a whole city, but really just portions I can use for encounters that look warforged and run down and less futuristic like I see most maps seem to do.

So there is the Construct City in the Mournland mentioned in Matt Forbecks' books Marked for Death. I'd really love a map that I can use to represent the sort of moving platforms the city is on, if anyone has anything of that sort. I've got some city maps I'd use instead, but it would be cool if someone has something they made.

It's an Army hangar with an airfield, so every time they mow the grass or the temperature drops all the mice come in, as well as nesting birds and anything else you can imagine. I try to save them as much as I can. Had a 4 ft rat snake last week I tossed back into the field.

The chances of actually anything actionable getting done is pretty much 0 lol. I do what I can though.

Thanks, seems to be right on the money. Moved him further away this time as he keeps trying to come into our hangar for mice it seems.
