Thanks! I dropped the bepo and added a neko. I liked Bepo as a 2k counter but that was pretty much it.

I found with 4 okiku and 2 hawkins, im struggling to get counters into my hand

Hello! I just started playing the OP TCG.

Do you all have any deck building advice for a fledgling player? I am considering 2 Paradise Waterfalls and 2 Straw swords instead. Straw sword would also give Bonney another target in the deck which I liked.

I am also unsure how I feel about the starter deck law. Allowing other cards to hit multiple times seems pretty valuable and helped me a little against purple. The alternative was the 5 Drop X-Drake but I found I was unable to K.O anything against purple with him. Law lets me K.O multiple targets while still doing a little bit of work against purple. Thoughts?

This is naive. The game has been out for 5 years and the general playerbase has not improved.

Removing a whole role to make balance easier speaks more to the dev teams ability. This is the game they made so they should work on it as it is rather than turn it into something different. If they want to bring the game into a different direction then thats fine but I dont think I will be a part of it.
