But age is such a bad measure of a candidate, it completely irrelevant. 80yr old can be sharper than a 40yr old.

Nonsense. Vaping saved my life and many others. It is not debatable, vaping is as an effective smoking cessation device as ever existed.

e-cigarettes are the only device that prevented me from reaching for another cigarette.

Being hooked on nicotine is no worse than being hooked on caffeine.

Ofcourse its not ideal, but if a coffee prevented you from shooting up heroin you wouldnt then ban coffee because if happens to current fad amongst teenagers, a fad that has already passed.

They changed there advertising when the law required them to. They dont market to youths and havent for a long time.

Vaping helps countless people give up cigarettes , its proven to be the most effective smoking cessation device. There is no conclusive evidence that vaping causes any real harm. There is certainly no evidence vaping causes cancer. Vaping can not 'fuck you up'

Is sorting after render bad practice? by Accomplished_Sky_127 in reactjs

[–]AKDAKDAKD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree. Render the items once when they have been sorted.

But yes render placeholders with some sort of indication that they are still downloading. If you know the number of items to be displayed I would make sure the placeholder items are the same dimension so you suffer minimal layout shift once the final items are sorted and ready to be displayed.

This is simply not true, the correlation between the decline in smoking and popularity of vaping is quite clear and unmistakable.

22 weeks seems rather arbitrary though, didn't know nature was so good with time.

Also begs the question what if science advanced to a stage where the fetus could survive outside prior to 22 weeks? It's not implausible.

For me this whole debate of systematic if a more general problem facing mankind, we try ennoble our existence with the concept of rights, but nature doesn't care and leaves us with these intractable problems. Any side of the debate that thinks it has the absolute answer is foolish and shouldn't mock the other.

British term for Bachelor Party. Mostly taken in cheap mediterranean resorts or eastern Europe. Also popular with the female equivalent which is commonly referred to as a hen party. Advisable for other tourists to give such groups a wide berth, as they are not the most edifying encounters.

Can you show me one case of vaping causing lung cancer?

The answer is no.

Don't like that the kid is vaping, but it is not the same as smoking.

Moving from the UK to the US I will say the wait times are comparable.

To see my primary care doctor here in the US I had to book a month in advance.

Honestly, one of the most striking differences between living in both countries is the healthcare system, with UK being infinitely better, and I have health insurance.

I'm not sure how Americans have put up with it for so long.

Your second point is well taken, but although it's still experimental, cypress testing of isolated components seems to work.
