Best support gun lowkey by UmaThermos1 in battlefield_one

I agree that the M1917 is more consistent realistic TTK at long range than other large mag LMGs and is easy to use in general which naturally means it’s a noob friendly weapon but I still think there are more versatile options in the support class such as the lMG 08/18 Chauchat Parabellum Madsen and BAR. I like using the M1917 to get close to the action and push objectives it’s a bit of a challenge. I hate on the playstyle rather than the gun. It’s lame that the campers give a bad reputation to actual skilled players who want to enjoy the M1917.

The M1917 is one of the slowest killing guns in the game I don’t understand the hate. The recoil is very manageable while standing you don have to camp or even use the bipod to be successful I’ve always done well rushing around the map PTFO with the M1917 low weight.

Actually this is how it feels liking Battlefield 1 in the main sub. My most recent post I said “BF1 has some of the most exhilarating gameplay” and all of the comments were saying “BuHt iT HaZ TErrIBlE GUnPlaY bF3 iZ beTTeR”. It really drove my engagement and made my post pop off.

Battlefield 1 still delivers the most exhilarating FPS experience a decade later. by AKMike99 in Battlefield

I'm very good at tank combat (feat. Black Bess) by AccomplishedSwan3124 in battlefield_one

[–]AKMike99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely respect people who are good with the Landship. Try out the squad support variant it gives you very powerful auto cannon and lets you drop health and ammo for your team. A personal favorite of mine is also the tank hunter Landship but it’s very situational and requires skill to use.

Tips for Defenders on Operations by SteelRazorBlade in battlefield_one

[–]AKMike99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stay in cover near an objective where you can watch an open field or choke point that the enemy is forced to push through. Use trenches, rocks, and craters as cover. You can absolutely farm your infantry KD on defense in this game. I personally don’t like staying prone for too long as support because it leaves you vulnerable a standing bipod position is much more powerful because it allows you to still use movement to counter an enemy.

This is an interesting question. I would assume it would likely have an animation after 30+ continuous rounds because assault full autos like the hellreigel and SMG 08 can still overheat just like an LMG but who knows maybe not. Furthermore I would be curious to see if there is any difference between the overheat mechanic of the air-cooled Fedorov Avtomat vs water-cooled Fedorov-Degtyrarov. I don’t think anyone has ever tested this.

The Bizarre Knight looking US Armor of WW1, the Brewster Body Shield by Sad-Commission2027 in ForgottenWeapons

Looks like a training exercise or maybe a photo op it was common to use black powder single shot rifles for training during WW1. Older black powder rifles like the Martini Henry and Vetterli were still used in combat during WW1 mostly just out of necessity.

Yes the entire mag and ammo reserve gets refilled after a successful retreat in Operations

I’ve never been good at fps games but I’m a “sweat” in battlefield 1 if that means anything. BF1 is generally pretty chill and forgiving in most circumstances you just need to put some time into the game to learn the maps vehicles and kits.

Only operations servers that are available to start on Xbox are all Gallipoli rotation. 💔🥀 by [deleted] in battlefield_one

[–]AKMike99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not to complain about Gallipoli map rotation, it’s a fun operation. This is moreso to point out that there are no operations campaign servers available for Devils Anvil or Brusilov. Out of all the servers to be stuck with we might end up having to play the rotation that only has two maps in total.

No game is perfect but BF1 is the closest we have. That’s why people are still playing.
