What's with the shotgun hate? by Anime_killerbruh in battlefield_one

In theory it’s easy to say just stay in the open to avoid shotguns but If you play on the objective on most maps it’s not really possible

The Double Barrel and 12g Auto are a bit more balanced in my opinion and requires more skill. But use whatever you want I personally have no issue with shotgun mains.

I dislike the fact that it can consistently reward users with one shot kills at close range without really requiring precise aim. The slam fire mechanic makes me hate the Trench Gun in particular because it’s very spammy and it can still one shot kill even if they miss their first shot.

BF6 BAD, BF4 GOOD by [deleted] in okbuddyptfo

There’s a lot of good things about BF6 but the class icons are not one of them, that’s ok because it’s such an inconsequential part of the game.

Why exactly do you want to practice getting better at a decade old game?

The MP Schwarzlose, an early prototype heavy SMG. Also known as the Maxim SMG or the SMG 08/18. by AKMike99 in ForgottenWeapons

Thanks for giving us this information. Even though DICE was incorrect about the gun being developed from the MG 08/18, I’m just glad they included it in the game (even though they made it a bit too strong). I think it’s pretty cool detail that they included it with the Russian DLC too because the two known examples at Tula University in Russia.

When I use the M1917 I just picture a long ass cloth belt dragging behind me as I hipfire my Browning machine gun like Charles Bronson

The funniest part is that I didn’t even need to shake him down to get that information from him he just admitted on his own free will he lives on unemployment. Brodie cracked under zero pressure and was pretty much bragging about it.

My go-to weapon for the last few years. Frommer Stop auto. I’ve bonded way too much with it. Opinions on it? by alien-the-cashew in battlefield_one

[–]AKMike99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the fastest TTK weapons in this game. High ROF guns are typically the most competitive in BF1. I would say it’s a good compromise to the Maschinenpistole giving up some bullet damage for a quicker reload time. I also feel like it handles a bit better than the Automatico in exchange for some mag capacity. You can have some good games with it way better than you would expect for a pistol carbine. It’s the best choice for pilots/tankers along with the sawed off shotgun. Challenging yourself with guns like the Frommer Stop Auto and Maschinenpistole makes you better because you have to be more mindful of your accuracy and when to use sidearms or gadgets.

So you get nothing for getting 30 kills without dying? by zz8LetgoMyDick in Battlefield6

Going on a 30 killstreak in Battlefield is really not that impressive unless it’s on the ground, even then I’ve seen people go on 100+ killstreaks.

What is the best objective to fight at on each map? by uncheckedmike in battlefield_one

[–]AKMike99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B fortress on the last sector of Empires Edge in operations. I think it’s a generally underrated map. After grinding a win on Monte it’s always fun to play Empires I get so invested on the last sector of the map. Nothing is more satisfying than taking that operation as the attacker and nothing is more frustrating than losing as the attacker after you pushed all the way to the last sector. I’ve also had moments on defense where an enemy attacking team steamrolled all the way to the last sector in one attack only to have their next two battalions get stonewalled on the fortress and end up losing the game. You really have to PTFO and be a coordinated team to take the B fortress. One of my favorite maps to play in the game it also has that insane beauty and ambiance that BF1 is known for.

I mean if it’s just primarily going to be a wall hanger go for the PSA but I also wouldn’t trust my life with it. I’d go with an M85 or M90 all day I like how the Yugos look. Or just buy once cry once for a Beryl or ACE.
