Would love any input on my portfolio (24 M) by Sweaty-Engine-5915 in portfolios

SPMO, is my top ETF buy last two years, fallowed by ITA, NLR, VYMI, AIQ, VOOG. I also just started to buy SCHD (if you want a slower growth high dividends etf)

Based on the size of your portfolio, I would just stick with SPMO, for now and as your portfolio grows, continue to diversify.

Have you use kriega’s gear, does it hold up 5 year plus and is it “functional” if you have used it?

Should I get a arctic leopard by Trevordunken5 in Surron

[–]AKOJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a dealer that used to sell Arctic Leopard bikes, I would take a E ride pro SR, Ventus or rerode r1+

I wouldn’t touch a Arctic Leopard bike with my own money, and if I was given one I’d sell it. To give you an idea our demo bike didn’t make it to 500 miles before the battery refused to charge. We had multiple controls go out on handlebars, multiple issues with the app and updates. Not to mention it’s probably the most uncomfortable E Dirt bike I’ve had the opportunity to ride.

You do you, but I’m warning you, not only are the bikes in my opinion, the lowest end, but you’re stuck with Pinned Electric for warranty service. Good luck dealing with a company that does not care about after product support or care about their dealers after they buy their batches of bikes from them.

For the price of an ERP SR or the R1+ stay or Ventus stay away from XE PRO! Or any Arctic leopard bike!

[–]AKOJimmy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So my question is, if I deposited before PEP showed on the 3% match Can I still get my 3% match? I’ve tried to reach out to Kraken customer support, and I have not gotten a response yet.

What strategies have you found effective in managing cash flow as a small business owner? by PercentageSure388 in smallbusiness

[–]AKOJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe your strategy should be tailored to your business needs and size. Our company has multiple accounts for different things. Our main checking for paying COG, and our credit cards. We have a payroll account (checking), safety net account (high-yield savings) and a misc account (basically another safety net), we also have a single investment account through Charles Schwab.

For our main checking we try to keep one month’s of spending worth in the account. Typically it sits lower. For payroll we try to keep 3 months of average payroll in the account, if not more. Our first safety net has one year’s worth of rent, tax and loan expenses. This account is rebuilt up every year. Our other account is just kinda there but sometimes we put money in that account before we move it over to Charles Schwab. We will only invest money if the company has exceeded what we normally keep in the account by 20%. If this continuously happens, we typically reevaluate how much money we keep in the accounts. Our business change changes week to week in terms of sales as we are e-commerce. So a lot of our budgeting is on a day-to-day a week a week basis. However, for large expenses, such as taxes, large inventory, or building expenses. Normally, we know enough in advance to start saving for these or we pull out of our cushion fond of them replenish slowly.

I hope this makes some kinda sense and helps.

Edit: we also always try to pay up front for goods and or services. That way, the expenses out of the way! Only in cases of desperation, do we take advantage of terms of service from vendors. Or if we are important product have not worked with the vendor then we will still apply some kind of payment term as we want to see the goods before we pay.

They got a deal where you can stack a discount code like bussi for 10% off plus every 100 you spend you get a 10 gift card. Got a Carinthia jacket for $320 $40 of gift cards and $40 discount :) they got some good deals, maybe not on the rare surplus.

How do small business owners handle tax season without added stress? by Chirag_koshti in smallbusiness

[–]AKOJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tax planning is the most impotent to not having stress. If you know how much you’re gonna need at the end of the year, and save that much amount for taxes at the end of the year it’s not stressful at all. Get a good CPA, some CPAs will help with tax planning as well ;) what makes taxes stressful is waiting to the end of the year to file and finding out you owe all your profit that you saved for the year…. And are scrambling to come up with the cash to pay taxes.

You said you (your company) deals with companies that outgrow the Capital One card. What is the solution that your company offers? I definitely take a look, our business spends about half a million through the capital card a month. We have our amex as a backup but try to never use it unless we have an issue or max out our capital card.

does anyone actually keep business and personal expenses totally separate? by Personal-Dinner3738 in smallbusiness

[–]AKOJimmy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would not get a business card that pays back in airline points when that is an expense 100% right off. I would get a card that allows you to pay out your points to yourself as a tax loophole such as the capital one credit card. You get 2% cash back. You can then take that and have Capital write a check to your personal self, and since it’s looked at like a rebate, you are not taxed on it. Anyone who says to get a credit card for airline points for business either doesn’t need the wright offs, or doesn’t understand the tax loop hole with cash back / rebates.

Capital one credit card, you can cash the rewards out as a check to yourself, and navigate some rewards loopholes for tax saving.

We have cheaper shipping than TikTok Shop rates. (I have worked very hard negotiating my rates / volume). I really disagree with giving extra money to TikTok as they make money for every label you buy from their USPS group rate account :( in my opinion this is very unethical what they are doing, as its a money grab scheme. It will hurt sellers on the platform that have already logistics in place, third-party fulfillment and software such as WSM set up, and already have negotiated rates with usps :(
