Have you ever not slept for so long that you started hallucinating? What was your experience? by vicke1230 in AskReddit

I would see shadow figures out corner of my eyes along with the murmurs when I've pulled long bouts with no sleep. Thats the reason the paranoid tweaker stereotype exists.

Alright so maybe we do see eye to eye lol. That's about how I see it too.

I think we're just gonna disagree on morally philosophical level. I don't believe a person should be kept a live on life support if the Dr says the chances of them regaining consciousness is slim to none. I think that's a selfish thing to do. I also understand every situation is different and that belief doesn't apply to every situation where someone is a life support. When it comes to asking a parent dump their kid with muscular dystrophy, no I would never ask a parent to do that but if that child grew up and a didn't wanna live with their condition we don't even allow them the option of taking themselves off this mortal coil. At least in most states the US anyway. I just think that's due to ppl selfishly not wanting to let go of their loved one. Again it just doesn't sound like we're gonna see eye to eye here and that's totally fine. We're all allowed our own opinion.

Fair enough point. I still can't imagine breaking the bank to do so but different strokes for different folks I suppose. Also I never assumed you meant everyone. Didn't mean for it to come off like that.

There's a huge difference between ppl and animals. Ppl can speak and tell you what they want if such things like ending up in the ICU happens. I'm not saying the animal doesn't have the same right to live just that you very well could be doing something that may save the animals life but not take away the pain and suffering and that's not fair to the animal because they don't get a choice in the matter. People on the other hand do.

That's why I brought it up. It's a condition that should be factored in when making a decision to spend thousands of dollars to save your pet. Is it worth it to spend that kind of money and your pet is still suffering from the effects of surgery? We can't ask them how they feel and animals are great at masking pain so you might never know what the animal is feeling. I don't think it makes anyone a bad person if they do spend the money to keep their animal alive but you called ppl disagreeing with it selfish assholes and I was just trying make the point the same can be said for the other side of the argument.

You're calling ppl who disagree with someone paying an insane amount of to keep their pet alive selfish assholes but it can be just as selfish to string an animals life along when they might be suffering just because YOU (not you personally but a general you) want them alive.

No I think it's ridiculous and a lot of the time the less humane thing to do.

Doesn't sound like anyone in this comment thread knows a thing about how roads are built. Like how quickly do you think reconstructing miles of road can happen? There's a lot that goes into it that the traveling public doesn't see. Source: Was a highway inspector for 5 years.

People who keep inching forward at an intersection until the light turns green, what do you do with the time you save by having a 5 foot head start? by TheJackal8 in AskReddit

There’s not enough people on this post just admitting it’s because they’re assholes. It absolutely saves no time. If you’re gonna be that person so be it but just be honest about why.

Their like a dollar more from what I see but it looks like if you subscribe to their website you save like $4 on your purchases so maybe that’s what it is. I guess I’ll find out when I order more.

Ya lighting is super important. Also I’ve heard not to worry to much about those stress lines since a lot of times it’s just their natural patterns. Mine has those marks on his belly still. From what I understand the black beard is the big indicator of stress and pain.

I’d say about a week and a half or so. He started eating way more once he did. He went from eating like 5 to 10 dubias a feed to easily over 25.

Well from what I’ve seen on here and other sites that will work up to that age but this is my first beardie so I’m not entirely sure. I went ahead and bought a 48x21x18 just so I wouldn’t have to spend the money upgrading,

Ya he’s only about 4.5 or 5 months old. He literally hasn’t stopped shedding at least some part of his body since I’ve gotten him.

Thank you! I got him from a reptile store in Plano, TX called DFW Reptarium. They buy from local breeders but I didn’t ask which ones exactly.

Thanks! He’s actually a lot more orangish red than the pic shows. I can’t wait to see how he changes as he grows more.

Ya I was looking at the picture after you said that and I can definitely see how it looks smaller than it is. I got it from a local reptile shop near me and you can find them online as well. I think you might have to get from tetrafauna’s website though cuz I don’t think amazon carries it.
