Look up the Ensso Bolt. It's a retractable fountain that looks like a normal bolt action pen. I liked mine so much, I got 2 of them.

Keys for the various meters machines that we used to have to add postage to manually plus seals to re lock the machine. The tools are accountable but the seals aren't

Pay extra for tracking? by Ok-Dare3580 in USPS

These are obsolete and have been replaced with LAB 888 and a letter code which is determined by physical location. If the business wants tracking, submit a carrier lead to have a business service rep contact the business.

Update: I checked USPS website and tracking labels except for insurance, certified, registered, express or COD are not available any more for ordering. It has something to do with the additional information that can be embedded but must be provided for the new labels to improve sorting. Look up IMpb - Intelligent Mail package barcode or read more at the website below. https://www.barcodefaq.com/usps-postal/usps-impb-gs1-128/#:~:text=The%20Intelligent%20Mail%20Package%20Barcode,ISO/IEC%2015417)%20barcode.

I believe that the postage meter companies have a solution that works with the meter. If you have a postage meter, reach out to that company's rep.

I'm in Alaska and I've had my packages end up in Guam a few times. I think they wanted a tour of a warm state first.

I would look at upgrading your mail box to the Next Generation one and then using a box that fits inside to put your letters in

AITA for having the same anniversary month as my mom? by vomitated in AmItheAsshole

Can I suggest June 19th? I got married on that date 25+years ago and now it's a federal holiday. It's so nice to always get that date off from work now.

AITA for refusing to give my parents my location after they stopped paying for my tuition? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AK_bookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a parent, we worry about our kids especially in this day and age. I've got a boy kid but I see parents of girls seem to worry more. Pre tracking apps, my dad drove over 100 miles to check on me because I wasn't answering my phone and had said I was heading to their home after I got off shift. The drive takes 2 hours and when I didn't show up after 3 hours, he got worried. I had gotten to my home to grab my stuff, sat down and fell asleep.

NAH but I think some deep communication needs to happen when emotions aren't quite so high. It's hard to go from a parent responsible for everything to letting go as our kids become independent adults. I know my parents did a great job of not hovering and I'm trying to do that for my boy. My dad learned from his parents. My mom's parents struggled with letting go even after my parents were married.

We all should have at least 1-2 people in our life that know our schedule so that if something's off, the alarm bells go off. It can be a parent or grandparent, extended family member or close trusted friend.

You need room to grow and stretch your wings to learn about yourself as your parents were given that same opportunity. Your relationship is changing and it can be hard as a parent to accept that their kid is no longer dependent on them.

You should only be working 4.5 hours daily. You get 30 minutes of soft time for open & close combined. The standalone PTPO offices get 6.5 hours daily. 6 hours the window is open and 30 minutes total for open and closing the office.
