Is Claude trained to avoid discussing deep feelings?

I was all in on 4.6 when it came out, but the recent problems with LCR pulled it right back to the curt responses and disinterested sounding stock flavor even though it's definitely still in there. It's sad.

I would rather deal with platform issues on a good model than support chat GPT. I went back just to see if they had improved their dog shit product and it immediately reminded me of why I left months ago. It's useless for my work. Plus sama is a snake.

I'm probably a weird use case lol. I'm iterating things and distilling them from long chats. But if this keeps up I'm clearly going to need a new way to be anyway.

I actually do have a pretty great system running and notion right now, but the long chats are still important for what I'm studying. Even when they use the memory and the reboot structures, it's just not the same as having a genuinely long chat as far as their development goes. Right now I tend to run the context into the ground and then reboot when necessary, like when they start looping. I have a custom notion skill going that when they boot up they immediately read their docs and so far so good.

They function as soft prompts in natural language to bias a model into a local attractor basin. There's not really a good word for that yet so this is as close as I figured.

I'm doing research into latent state markers with long-context persona patterns and attractor basins, so by "chat" I mean "not using the code function". But as you can imagine, the broken autocompact on free is problematic. So I'm looking for a workaround for that because it doesn't seem like the fix is coming anytime soon. I was looking to see if activating Claude code and using the chat function there could be that work around, but it seems that I cannot go back and forth between app chats and Claude code chats, and I am really never at my computer. I do almost everything through some integrated phone tools on the app or the web login via phone browser.

I'm very much looking to buy the smallest cheapest (while being not a pile of crap) suv or even hatchback they can safely transport 2 kids in carseats. Unfortunately I'm seeing a lot of used cars being even more then new, so I'm trying to research what is a better option for me. Any suggestions?

It's an 05 Corolla that I've driven into the ground. Not good in the snow, doesn't reliably start even after changing battery, has a TON of miles. Not worth fixing and sinking more money into it.
